Chapter 69: The Final User Arrives

(Ok so I am skipping towards the end of All Might vs All for One fight. The rescue mission goes the exact same except replace Bakugou with Aoyama. And All for One doesn't teleport him to the battlefield since All for One is done with him and his family. Covering the entire mission would just be a copy and paste of the anime and manga for the next couple chapters and you all deserve better. I will say because of that it may seem like this chapter goes from 0 to 100 from the previous chapter. And for that I am sorry.)

Nejire had just arrived back to the hospital that Izuku was at. It was late at night due to the fact students now had a very strict curfew unless given permission from their homeroom teacher and Nedzu has to sign off on it. And with the training camp attack only a handful have been accepted. And one of which has she sees sitting in a chair in Izuku's room, "Bakugou."

He looked up, "Hado."

She sat down in a chair next to Izuku, "What are you doing here? I thought all the first years were strictly forbidden from even leaving their dorms."

Bakugou nodded while spinning a phone between his hands, "Nedzu allowed me to visit Midoriya until he is out. And I have to report when I leave the dorms, when I get on a train, when I get off the train, when I get here, when I leave, and so on so forth."

She nodded, "That makes sense. But that didn't answer my question. Also why is Izuku's hero suit case here?""

"All Might dropped that off. He said if Izuku woke up to immediately head to the location on a note inside it and be ready for a fight. But the reason I am here is I wanted to talk to him about this." Bakugou held up the phone.

"What is that?"

"Aoyama's other phone which he used to communicate with the league. The police have already got all the info off of it, took the locator chip out, and basically wiped it."

"So why do you have it?"

"I don't know. Once they were done I was handed it back. Only thing the officer said was, "Deku trusted you with this task. He will be happy to know you kept it." And that's it. Why would the officer give me the phone back. Shouldn't this be evidence or some shit?"

She nodded, "It should be. But your forgetting something."

"Which is?"

"Popularity."

"What about it? I'm not popular. And that is something we can both agree on."

She chuckled, "That I agree. But not your popularity." She held Izuku's hand, "His."

"What would his popularity have to do with the officer giving me my phone back? Not like me and him have been seen in public."

"True but do you remember talking to police when they got to the summer camp?"

"Yeah what about it?"

"In the very short amount of time Izuku has been in the public eye he has made a splash needless to say. He saved people from a burning building, took down the hero killer, survived you know who, took down Sukuna, beat All Might, and stopped an armed robber. He has earned a lot of people's respect and admiration. And people love him. The fact his merch is flying off shelves almost as fast as the company can make them proves that. When people hear that he asked something of someone most people follow through with it. Simple as that."

Before they could say anything Izuku's full cowling activated and he started thrashing around.

Nejire leapt up, "Izuku!"

She tried to hold him down but without success. He was using just enough of One for All to emit his green electric aura but not enough to were people trying to hold him down would get hurt.
