Chapter 23: 2nd Round

Izuku Midoriya was currently stretching outside his stadium entrance, "I need to win this. But I need to convince Todoroki."

Suddenly he felt heat behind him.

He turned around and groaned at the sight, "Yes Endeavor?"

"I need to have a talk with you. I noticed your quirk is similar to All Might's."

"Yeah so? Quirks can be similar. And before you ask no I am not All Might's love child. Your son already asked me."

He smirked, "Of course he did. But I have already met your father."

He raised a questioning brow, "What do you mean?"

"Oh nothing. Your father said he wanted it to be a surprise."

"Look. Anything he is working with you end it. That man is not my father. He is a mere sperm donor. He and my mom haven't even been married since I was 4. That is 14 years. He has no legal right or standing to me."

Endeavor rubbed his chin and whispered to himself, "Hm. Seems like I was lied to. Need to figure something out for this to work."

"For what to work?"

"Nothing. Look you must use your full power against my son. It is his destiny to be better then All Might. You are a mere stepping stone for him. You will force him to use his left side."

"Look you need to stop."

"Stop?"

"Your son is not a weapon. His destiny is what he decides."

Endeavor grit his teeth, "Watch your tone with me boy."

"Or what? You will roast me? We both know you can't."

"Who says I can't?"

"The fact that your a pro hero and killing a student will ruin you."

His fire got hotter, "Watch. Your. Tone. Boy."

Izuku gave him a smile, "Nah!"

Present Mic came over the intercom, "Izuku Midoriya and Shoto Todoroki report to the stadium."

"Well you go ahead and tattle along!" Izuku turned around and walked away leaving a fuming Endeavor standing and gritting his teeth.

Endeavor walked back and Hisashi was there, "How did it go?"

"Well first off you lied about still being married."

Hisashi chuckled, "I knew that would come out."

"Well I believe I can still make this work. Let's go watch the fight. Your son better give my son a lesson and get him to use his fire."

"I know he will try. I may not have been around him for his life but I do know how he is."

In the stadium Midnight cracked her whip, "Contestants get ready!"

Izuku cracked his knuckles, "Todoroki. Bring it your all."

"What did my sperm donor talk to you!?"

"3!"

"He did. But I ignored him. I have my own goals for this fight. And so do you."

"2!"

Todoroki grit his teeth, "I will win!"

"1! FIGHT!"

Todoroki started off with a massive ice glacier, "Freeze!"

Izuku pulled his finger back and flicked. The air pressure destroyed the glacier and pushed Todoroki back.
