Chapter 30: Making A Splash Early

Izuku Midoriya was currently on a train station headed for Okinawa. After thinking long and hard over all his offers he eventually decided on Ryukyu. He was the only hero who checked all the boxes on what he wanted out of a internship. Well there was one other with that being Endeavor but after everything that happened he didn't wanna see him.

As the train was still going he got a text. He looked at his phone and he smiled.

He opened the message from Nejire and it was an image of Gunhead's agency with a message, "This is so cool! This place has more workout equipment then U.A.'s gym! Hopefully Gunhead can teach me a lot! You have fun with your internship! Also don't worry if we can't talk a lot. We are both gonna be insanely busy and tired. Just take your time ok baby boy?"

He blushed a bit and texted back, "I hate you know that name makes me flustered! And you use it all the time!"

A text back, "Yep! Now I gotta go get ready. Love you sweetie!"

He smiled, "Love you too!"

Eventually the train stopped and the intercom yelled, "Okinawa stop 1!"

Izuku grabbed his duffel bag and his hero suit case and walked off.

He swung the duffel bag over his shoulder and attached the suit case to it so he wouldn't lose it.

He then pulled up his phone and typed in the Agency's address.

As he started walking he felt a tap on his shoulder, "Hm?"

He turned and saw the person he was headed to, "Ryukyu! Sorry I didn't notice you there."

She nodded, "That's fine. Where were you headed anyway?"

"Um to your agency? Was I not supposed to?"

She sighed, "Didn't Hado tell you I meet all my interns at the train station?"

He shook his head with a chuckle, "Nope."

"I swear that girl is gonna be the death of me. But follow me."

"Um ok?"

She started walking and eventually they were at an open field, "Um what are we here for?"

She then transformed into her dragon form and laid a wing down to use as a staircase, "My agency is an hour away on foot. Hop on."

He nodded, "Yes ma'am!" He walked up the wing and got on her back.

Once he was situated she spoke, "Hang on. Some people get a bit overwhelmed at first."

"Understood!"

She flapped her wings and they were now in the air.

Izuku was in awe. He had never seen a city from this high up.

Ryukyu chuckled, "Bit of a star struck moment huh. Don't worry it happens. Look to your right. That is my agency. The tall building with a helicopter pad."

Izuku looked and immediately noticed, "So cool!"

"Hang on! Sometimes landing with someone riding is a bit of a mess."

She slowly landed and Izuku stumbled, "I see what you mean. Rough landing." Izuku then hopped off.

Once he was off she transformed back into her human form, "Alright. Well you go ahead an change into your hero suit. Then I am taking you out on a small patrol."

"W-What!? S-So early!?"

She chuckled, "I will admit I typically don't do this normally. But as you have heard you are not a normal case. So I do believe the best way for you to improve during this internship is for an actual patrol. Now I will say this. While we are on patrol you listen to me every time. Unless you 100% know you can accomplish something do not do it without my permission. If you screw up it's my ass on the line not yours. And if you cause damage I am the one to pay not you. Understood?"
