Sam's POV

Ok, so you didn't mean to fall asleep with Eddie on the couch. You also hadn't meant to end up making out. But after Steve put in Nightmare on Elm Street then went to bed, you really didn't want to move. Not that you could have anyway, it was like your entire being was screaming at you to stay there with Eddie.

Eddie had put his arm over the back of the couch and moved it around you when you jumped. A total move but you couldn't have cared less, it just felt good to be close to him. He let you hide your face in his neck just like the first time you watched movies together at Steve's. This time however, it was just the two of you and the tension there when he looked at you got the better of you. It surprised both of you when you leaned in and kissed him.

Eventually you had to stop for air and things felt unfinished. Neither of you were willing to talk about it right then though, so you went back to watching the movie.

You woke up with Eddie holding onto you and slipped from his arms, leaving without saying anything.

The dance studio has a small shower room in the back as it used to be a part of a gym. You go in early and try to work out where to go from here with Eddie as you scrub and wash your hair. Last night completely undid most the resolve you'd had to keep him out of your life. Still, it all felt too good, too much weighted in those kisses, in his touch. That connection you felt to him was still there and just as intimidating.

"Thought I might find you here." Chance says as you hear the door open.

Fuck, not right now.

"I have a class starting in about an hour." You tell him as he leans on the stall and pulls open the curtain.

He stays put, admiring your naked body.

"An hour, huh?" He asks with a grin.

"Not now. I need to get ready and warm up."

"Lunch? I can come back between classes."

"Not today, ok?"

"What's going on?" He asks as you pull the curtain closed again.

"Nothing, I just have stuff to do."

"Is it because I asked you out again?"

"No." You say then think. "Maybe we should cool things off for a while though."

"Really?" He asks.

"Yeah, I don't want a relationship and if you do you should go find a girlfriend."

"Can we still see each other?"

"Chance, I'm not going to fuck you if you have a girlfriend. I wouldn't do that to someone."

"But you don't want to be my girlfriend?"

"No."

"Ok. Well, it's been fun. Maybe I can call you if things don't really work out with someone else?"

"Sure."

"This is probably really skeezy, but can I have one last look?"
