"Pick something out or should I?" I ask
she smiles gently
I grab a pair of skinny black jeans and a flowy full sleeve top.
"Here go change" I say handing the clothes to her
She doesn't argue which I am thankful for, she goes to the change room while I pay of the clothes.
"Manikkkk"
"Yeah?"
"I can't zip this up, help" she says
I wiggle the doorknob stepping in the change room.
She stood there looking in the mirror as she tries to zip up her top, she is so effortlessly beautiful, it's alluring actually
"Thank you" she says when I zip up the last bit of her top
"Of course, all ready to go?"
"Yeah" she says grabbing her suit
"You can leave it here unless you really like the suit"
"No I don't, it has horrific memories"
"Then leave it, come on lets go"
"I don't know how to thank you" she whiseprs on our way back to the car
"Smile" I say
"huh?"
"You and thank me by smiling. It makes abhi and cabir happy"
"You?" She asks but I don't say anything
"You?" She asks again
'They make me happy"
"I make you happy" she whiseprs to herself
"Don't overthink it and pull up your sleeve for me" I say
"Why? It's cold manik"
"Let me look at that burn"
She pulls her sleeve up, the burn was blistering really bad
"Does it hurt?" I ask caressing around it
"Nothing I haven't felt before" she says
"The doctor will take a good look at it okay"
"Oh nope, I am not going to a doctor"
"Wasn't a question miss Murthy"
"You are very bossy"
"I am aware"
She hums boxing her head side to side at the music playing. We get to the doctor where we were put in a room to wait.
"Go hop up on that scale for me" I say to nandini
"Why?"
"you have been asking a lot of question this morning little princess"
"Im curious" she says
"On the scale nandini"
She weights 41 kg, literally so underweight
"Remember that number for me okay"
"why?"
"Princess stop asking me questions, they are starting to a annoy me and I will feed you salads if you annoy me"
"Well why didn't you say that before, that is the worst punishment even for me" she mumbles sitting down beside me
