Chapter 24

I walk over to a group of guys, I knew his eyes were on me, he was burning holes in my back with his intense gaze but he wants to play this, I will show him I'm not a kid, I am not vanilla.

I am innocent, I hate fighting, I hate that I am about to do this but if that's what it takes to get him to get in that car to go home, so be it.

"Hey" I whisper to this one guy

"Hi baby" he smirks

He lifts his hand to touch me but before his hand could lay on my body I was pulled back by someone

"What the fuck are you doing?" He barks in my ears

"Doesn't matter, I am nothing to you" I say jerking his hand off me

I limp to abhi, Cabir and mukti, it felt disgusting to think I was about to try gain someone's attention to get Manik back. Thats so shallow of me. His heavy steps behind me stop as I stop on front of abhi.

"Can we please go home?" I ask him

"Manik?" He asks

"It's okay abhi, I thought he was the Manik that kissed me last night, but he isn't so it's better we get back home"

"Nandini" cabir whispers

"I mean nothing to him and it's clearly not the alcohol. My heart told me to come here and get my Manik back but he isn't my Manik so there is no point. Can we please go home?' I ask

"Manik get int he fucking car" abhi says

"Mukti can you please help me, I feel faint" I whisper to her

She nods grabbing my arm taking me to the car. I get in the car and shortly after cabir, abhi and Manik come walking to the car

I switch my position with mukti so she was in between Manik and i. The drive back to the house was painful, my whole body hurt so bad, I felt faintish a few times, even felt like I was going to throw up.

When we all got back home I walked to my room, I took manik's t shirt off putting my own clothes on, I place his t shirt back in his room walking down to the living room

Lets say it took a minute because my legs were in pain, my whole body was actually in so much pain.

"You feeling okay?" Abhi asks

"Im okay, can I cook you guys something?" I ask avoiding all eye contact with Manik

"Nah, we are ordering from outside and we also got you some yummy milkshake" cabir says

i smile nodding at him.

Mukti and I watched a show in silence, my attention wasn't on the tv, it was somewhere else and for the first time I wasn't okay in this house.

"Here you go shortie" abhi hands me a milkshake

"Thanks abhi, im going to head to bed" I tell him

"But you didn't eat" mukti mumbled

"I did, I had tons of snacks, I'm full. Goodnight guys" I whisepr

"Here let me help" mukti says

"No all good, im okay. Don't be too noisy" I wink at her making her chuckle

"Promise to keep it quiet"

"Disgusting girl" she laughs causing abhi to smile as well

I walk up to my room shutting the door, I grabbed my blankets sitting by the railing in the balcony, the blanket wrapped around me as I watching the stars
