"Hey baby, ill be right back okay"

"Sounds good" she says from the bathroom

"Hello? What do you mean you aren't coming?" It was cabir who had called

"She isn't feeling too well, I'm taking her to the farmhouse, I already checked with abhi" I tell him

"She is so sensitive to things"

"I know plus I didn't officially ask her to be mine yet so im taking her for a get away"

"Be safe and take care of yourselves"

"Have fun at the party"

"Oh I will"

I chuckle cutting the call

"Manik"

"Yeah?" i reply grabbing snacks from the kitchen

"Ap kya kar rahai ho?" She asks softly

I turn around and find her in the short red dress, her hair curly resting on her shoulder, her ears adored with beautiful heart studs that I got her a little bit ago along with a heart necklace that laid on her neck

"My beautiful doll" I whisper grabbing her hand

"I don't feel good at all, I know we need to be somewhere but I feel sick mani, I feel like im going to throw up, im sorry" she whispers

"baby you don't have to be sorry about anything, we aren't going to that party anymore" I tell her

"We aren't?"

"No, but we are going somewhere else, why don't I give you one of my shirt and you can wear that?"

"Please, I just feel comfortable in your clothes, it calms my nerves down"

"Why are their nerves in the first place at all?" I ask leaning my back on the counter

She leans onto my chest playing with my t shirt, her fingers tracing the neckline of the t shirt

"I can't forget things, it's hurting really bad. I am trying, I promise you that I am trying really hard but no matter how hard I try I can't stop thinking"

"Talk to me, I can talk you through those feelings, I can listen" I whisper kissing her nose

"I was chasing butterflies" she whispers, a soft smile on her face

I hum locking my hands behind her back

"I heard something and I thought it was you but as soon as I turned around I saw sahil and he put a cloth on my face, I tried yelling but I know you couldn't hear me. When I woke up, I was on the floor of that warehouse, the button of my jeans were open, a girl sitting there. When she saw I was up she called him and they forced me to wear that lehenga. You know manik, I had this dream, this vision of wear a red lehenga on my wedding day but now every time I think about it, my heart drops to my stomach. Thats not even the worst part, my father, he stood there not helping, in fact he looked like he enjoyed me getting tortured and hurt" she whispers

Her father is a piece of shit, I hate that parents bring you to this world only to break you in pieces.

I can try my hardest to mend nandini but those cracks her father left can't be healed by me, I can love her to my absolute ends but that love she deserved from her father, that love can't be replaced by my love.

"Jaan tumhai samajhna padega ki tum mai koi galti ni hai"

"Par phir esa kyu lagta hai ki sırf mai hi galat hu?" She asks, her innocent eyes staring in mine searching for an answer
