"I need to go," I say looking at Wooyoung with an apologizing expression on my face hoping he would understand. "But I'll come back okay? I don't want you to go to your dorm like this, I'll drive you," I add still worried about him and he nods to my condition even though he seems to prefer to help me and my sister. But I think he should stay here. "Wait for me," I conclude before entering the house and looking for Haneul.

But what I did not know is that I never came back to Wooyoung, that night.

When I entered the house, I followed Mingi to the right bathroom where I found my sister sitting on the floor, trembling. I told my friend I would take care of her so he could leave us alone now. He nods and gives us some space.

I look at my sister and approach her worried. "Are you okay?" I say to her as I sit on the floor trying to see if she is in pain or anything else. Her eyes are hovering over every detail of the room like she is searching for something but then they stop on me. I am here Haneul, don't worry.

"I'm okay," she says before burying her face on my neck. "Thank you for coming," she whispers looking at me with thankful eyes. We hug each other tightly, both happy to be together again. I am just so relieved that she is safe in my arms.

My presence seems to have its effects on my sister, her breathing seems to come back to normal while her heartbeat is going way slower than before.

"Can you tell me what happened?" I ask her, detaching from each other so she can lean her head on my shoulder instead. I find it hard to see my little sister like that, looking so vulnerable and scared at the same time. I have made sure since we were young that she had everything she needed and that she was always safe. But tonight I failed and I feel so bad for it.

"I just drank too much alcohol so I ended up puking," she lets go ashamed of her careless behavior. I move my hand on her hair to caress her softly. "It's okay Haneul, it can happen," I say calmly to reassure her.

"I just want to go home," she says moving her head away from my shoulder to face me and I immediately nod at her demand. "Let's go home," I say helping her stand up.

We exit the bathroom and start walking toward the front door together. I reach for my sister's hand to make sure we do not lose each other in the crowd. As soon as we stepped out of the house, the cold breeze hit my skin and it made me remember my promise.

"Wait Haneul, I need to drive Wooyoung back too," I say to her in a hurry. She looks at me confused but I don't give her the time to ask me questions. "Go in my car, I'll be right back," I say while lending her the key.

I turn around and re-enter the party. I hope he did not go by himself while I was gone.

I walk fast in the direction of the veranda and when I open the backyard door I only find an empty table and empty seats. Where did he go?

"Wooyoung?" I say hoping he would come out from behind the trees or somewhere else but nothing. "No, no, no... This can't be happening." I say aloud even though no one is here to listen to me. How can he be so irresponsible to go by himself?

I rush my hands in my hair out of stress. I can not believe he did not wait for me. I really thought he would. I look around and close my eyes helpless. There is no chance he went back inside with all this noise, so he must have started walking toward the university.

I open my eyes and see a door next to the fence, probably leading to the road. I decide to follow this track and arrive on the sidewalk. I look around and see no one outside except my sister next to my car. But it looks like she is not alone anymore, there is someone else with her... What? I look again and notice it is indeed a guy next to her but I am too far away from them to see who it is.
