Maurice

As soon as I dropped the last paper for my report, my phone rang. It's 3 AM so I'm wondering who's calling me at this hour. When I saw that it's Tito Adonis, I answered immediately.

[Mau, I know na sobrang busy mo but can you fetch Aidan for me? He sounded so tired.

"Where is he po?" I stood up and wore my glasses.

[Ian said he saw him at Meteorite. Blacked out. Wala syang dalang sasakyan at wala din syang kasama kaya walang maguuwi sa kanya. Your Tito Ian can't because they're going to fetch us here.] He explained.

I sighed slightly. "Okay po. I'll go there."

[Thanks, Mau. Papasalubungan kita ng maraming jelly ace.] He sounded relieved.

"Give it to Aidan na lang po. He'll appreciate it more than I do." I told him as I leave my condo.

He chuckled. [Alright. Thanks by the way.]

I bid my goodbye and drove my car to Meteorite. It wasn't that far from my condo so it only took me a few minutes to arrive there. Maraming tao dahil christmas break na. Meteorite is actually a bar slash arcade. Tito Ian and Pete's business.

They're our business partners too. We produced the liquors they sell, Dad decided to turn our small bar into a liquor company and they successfully made it. Now, Moana is one of the biggest liqour supplier in the Philippines, even in Asia.

And yes, they named it after the movie where Dad got his name, Maui. It was Dada's idea and actually doesn't sound so bad so they go for it. Now, when I heard Moana, I always think if it's the girl in that movie or it was my parent's company, how ironic.

"Oy, Maurice! Long time no see!" The bouncer, Kuya Alloy, greeted me.

I only offered him a nod and asked where Aidan is. I already have an idea but I wanted to confirm it. And I wasn't wrong, nasa VIP section nga sya ng bar. He was blacked out, just like what Tito Adi said.

I sighed and uttered some words before checking him. He was unconscious and obviously, hindi sya madaling magigising kaya di na ako nagabala pang gisingin sya at binuhat na lang na parang sako ng bigas sa balikat ko at naglakad palabas ng Meteorite.

It was so noisy there, it hurts my ear.

"How did you get this heavy, Aidan." I groaned while bringing him to my car.

The last time I saw him, he's so skinny and easy to knock off. I can feel his hard muscles and abs. The heck, is he burning himself a lot in the gym? Himala. He hated exercising, nakakapagod daw at nakakatamad.

Maybe he already courting someone, nagpapalakas.

"If that so, you're corny." I told to the air and put his seatbelt on, sa back seat ko sya nilagay.

I decided to bring him to my condo, wag lang syang sumuka don. I know him too well.

"Stubborn as ever." I mumbled and parked my car when we arrived.
