CHAPTER 10: TRAINING FOR THE SPORTS FESTIVAL

All of us in Class 1A had just survived an attack at the USJ and three of them were seriously injured.

UA gave everyone in class 1A two days off so that we can recover from the attack and the classes will resume in two days time.

"Hey Kirishima...who do you think is going to teach class today?" I asked.

"I'm not sure Ellie, Mr Aizawa is still in the hospital recovering from his injuries" Kirishima said.

"Morning class" Mr Aizawa said.

"Mr Aizawa, what are you doing here?" Asui said.

"It's good to see you out of the hospital" Kaminari said.

"Sir, are you going to be able to teach us with all of those bandages on your face?" Iida asked as he raised his raised hand.

"Settle down everyone, let Mr Aizawa speak" Asui said.

"Now, onto more important things, your fight is not over yet" Mr Aizawa said.

"Our fight" Bakugo said.

"Don't tell me..." Midoriya said.

"Not more villains" I said.

"The UA Sports festival is about to begin" Mr Aizawa continued.

"Yeah!" all of us said as we were cheering.

"So soon after the villain attack" Jiro said.

"This event is a huge opportunity for all the of students at UA, not something we can really cancel because of a few villains" he continued.

"That is right...this is where UA students get scouted" Kirishima said.

"Yeah! Most UA graduates apply to big agencies and start off as sidekicks" Kaminari said

"That's correct. And that is why the festival is so important. So you better not slack off on your training, got it" he finished.

"Yes sir!" all of us said.

The class is over for the day.

"Hey Ellie, are you still coming over to my house to train with me?" Shoto asked.

"Yeah since my dad would be working late" I said as Shoto nodded.

"Hey Ellie...can me and Mina use the gym at your dad's agency to train?" Kirishima asked.

"Yeah but my dad said not to damage the room while you train, got it" I said as I gave them the address for the agency in Kyushu.

"Got it" Kirishima and Ashido said.

All of us were about to leave for the day but all of us were blocked in by students from other classes.

"What the hell are all of you here?" Uraraka questioned.

"Do you students have some kind of business with our class?" Iida asked.

"They're scouting the competition, idiots. We're the class that survived a real villain attack. They want to see us with their own eyes. At least now you know what a future pro looks like, now move it extras!" Bakugo said, going through the crowd.

"So this is class 1A. I have you guys were impressive but you just sound like an ass. Is everyone in the hero course delusional or is it just you?" a boy with purple messy hair said.

"Huh" Bakugo said.

"Hey you! I'm from Class 1B that's next door to you, we heard you fought some villains and I came to see if that was true. But you're just a bunch of brats who think that they are better than us. Talk all you want but it will be more embarrassing when you KO'D. Don't ignore me" another boy said.

"Dude, where are you going, you got to say something. It's your fault they are all hating on us Bakugo" Kirishima said.

"These people doesn't matter" Bakugo said.

"Huh" Kirishima said.

"The only thing that's important is that I beat them" Bakugo finished as he is walking away with his hands in his pockets.

"I hate that was such a manly exit" Kirishima said with tears in his eyes.

"We do have to beat them so Bakugo isn't wrong there" I said.

There was only two weeks before the sports festival and I knew I had to train my hardest for this event. I got changed into some gym clothes and I put my hair into a ponytail as me and Shoto were training in his house. Endeavor came into the training room to see our progress.

"Hey Shoto, Ellie...what are you guys up to?" Endeavor said.

"We're doing some training for the sports fest that's coming up" I said.

"Yeah, it's in two weeks" Shoto said.

"Oh yeah, I heard about that. Ellie, why don't you take a break so see how much Shoto has improved while he was training with you, is that ok?" Endeavor said.

"Yeah, sure" I said as I went over to the wall.

"Let's see how much you improved then" Endeavor said.

Shoto attacked first as Endeavor blocked his incoming attack. He pushed Shoto back to try and kick him but Shoto managed to dodge his attack. After a while, the two of them stopped.

"I'm glad to see that you have improved" Endeavor said, which Shoto smiled a little.

"Why don't you take a break Shoto. Ellie, now it's your turn" Endeavor said as Shoto left the room when me and Endeavor started to train.

"Aww man, I was totally hoping to wear my costume" Mina said, sadly.

"Everyone, get you game faces on. We are entering the stadium soon" Iida said.

"Midoriya" Shoto said.

"Hey Todoroki...what's up?" Midoriya asked.

"Midoriya, you have All Might in you corner helping you. I'm not here to pry about what's going on between you too but I know that I will beat you" he said with a straight face.

"Yeah, what is the big deal. Why are you picking a fight all of a sudden? And why before we get started" Kirishima said, stepping in the middle.

"We're not here to be each others friends. Don't forget that this isn't a team effort" Shoto said as he was brushing him off.
