CHAPTER 29: TAKING IT SLOW

"Alright, that's it for class today. There is only one week left before final exams begins. I am sure all of you are constantly studying, right? Do not forget to keep training, the written exam is just one element. There is also the practical portion to worry about. Good luck" Mr Aizawa explained before dismissing the class.

"Hey Ellie, sorry about lunch the other day, I just wanted to help. Did the two of you talk by the way?" Kaminari said apologetically.

"It's ok, Kaminari. It helped and we talked s-sort of" I said as I smiled and blushing a little.

"Oh, did you two finally kiss?" he teased.

"Kaminari shush, he will hear you. Besides, I do not know what you mean" I said, still blushing.

"Relax Ellie...I'm just teasing. I heard that Kirishima has a hard time talking about his feelings to anyone" he said.

I just nodded as Eijiro and Mina came up to me.

"Hey Ellie...will you help me study?" Eijiro asked.

"Can you help me study too Ellie?" Mina asked as well.

"Yeah sure, you two can come over to my house" I said.

"Thanks Ellie" Eijiro said.

"You're the best" Mina said.

I overheard the others asking Yaoyorozu for some help.

"Hey Eijiro...can we go somewhere private so that we can talk?" I asked shyly.

"Yeah, sure" Kirishima said.

The two of us purchased a snack and we were heading towards Ground Beta.

"What do you want to talk about?" he asked.

"I just wanted to ask, that kiss...did you really mean it?" I asked curiously.

"Yeah, I really mean it cause I really like you pebble" Kirishima said with a little blush on his face.

"I really like you too" I said with a little blush as well.

"After the midterms, would you like to go out on a date with me?" Kirishima asked confidently.

"I would love to go on a date with you" I said with a small smile.

The two of us were walking back to the cafeteria, smiling at each other. We finally reached the cafeteria and headed to the table with the Bakusquad.

"Hey you two, glad you could join us" Kaminari teased.

"Shut up!" the two of us yelled, blushing.

I am heading out the class with Shoto and Eijiro after Bakugo stormed out.

"See you later guys. I will text you later Ellie" Eijiro said.

"Bye Eijiro...see you later" I said.

"Going by the first name basis, are we?" Shoto teased.

"Shut up" I said while I was blushing a little.

Me and Shoto said our goodbyes when we were about to board our train to head home.

<TIME SKIP A LITTLE>

After I had a nice hot shower and changed into a black shirt and 3/4 length jeans, I was preparing dinner for me, my dad and Hawks {when they come home after the two of them come back from their agency}, I am going to message Mina and Eijiro.

ME: Are you two still coming round to my house...let's say 5?

MINA: Yeah...I can be there
EIJIRO: Me too

ME: That sounds great

MINA: See you there you lovebirds
EIJIRO: See you later and we aren't lovebirds

ME: Yeah, we aren't lovebirds

I should be getting some stuff sorted before the two of them arrive. I started to put things away while I was cleaning around the house since it was 3:30PM. After I got everything sorted, I am watching something on the TV before they arrive.

*Ding* *Dong*

I turned the TV off and walked towards the door.

"Hey guys. Glad you two could make it" I said after I opened the door.

"Thanks for inviting us" Eijiro said.

"Yeah...I even brought us some snacks" Mina said.

"That's great. Please...come in" I said as the two of them came into the house.

"You really have a great house Ellie" Mina said as the two of them were looking around the house.

"Thanks" I said.

"Let's get to it guys" Eijiro said.

<TIME SKIP A LITTLE>

After a while of studying, my dad and uncle Hawks came into the house.

"Hey dad, uncle Hawks" I greeted the two of them.

"Hey little mouse" my dad said.

"Hey little birdie" Keigo said.

"Your dinner is in the kitchen" I said.

"Thanks little mouse. Is she you friend too?" my dad said.

"Yeah. My name is Mina Ashido, it's nice to meet you two" Mina greeted.

"It's nice to meet you too" Keigo said.

The two of them left the room to have a quick shower and get changed. They went into the kitchen to have their dinner while the three of us were continuing to study.

<TIME SKIP A LITTLE BIT MORE>

After all the studying that has been done, it's time for Eijiro and Mina to go home.

"Thanks for inviting us over Ellie" Eijiro said.

"Yeah...thanks" Mina said.

"Anytime. If you to come over to my house again...let me now" I said.

"Thanks, pebble...I-I mean Ellie" Eijiro stuttered.

"Pebble? That's a cute nickname you got for Ellie" Mina teased.

"I think so too" I said, shyly.

Suddenly, Eijiro kissed me on the cheek to say goodbye before the two of them are heading to the station.
