CHAPTER 55: HOUSE ARRESTS

{INTRO}

Class 1A just found out that Midoriya and Bakugo fought last night and now the two of them are on house arrest for the next couple of days, missing some classes. The two of them are missing an very important opening ceremony that Class 1A was going too that morning.

Midoriya and Bakugo were watching the rest of us leave towards the ceremony with the two of them have to clean the dormitories.

"This really sucks that we are going to miss a ton over the next few days" Midoriya said.

"Hell yeah we are dumbass" Bakugo said, annoyed.

{MEANWHILE IN MR AIZAWA's HOMEROOM CLASS}

"Ok. So starting today...we will resume our regular classes and training schedule. I know a lot has happened recently, however you need to switch gears and focus on your school studies. We're lecturing today but this semester, you will have even harsher training than before..." Mr Aizawa started to say.

"Excuse me, sir. But can I ask about what the principal said during the opening ceremony? I have never heard the term hero work studies before" Tsu asked.

"I know right, that also had me pretty confused too" Sero said.

"I also have some concerns" Tokoyami said.

"It's something the upper classmen do right, what's a work study?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"Mhmm. I was planning to tell you about this at a later date. But I guess telling you now is more logical. To put it more simply, it is work outside of class. Like the internships you did, Pro Hero agencies before but it is only closer to the real thing. You will be using your connections from the sports festival to secure a work study, it's like basic networking. This isn't part of your normal class work, it's discretionary for each student that means those who wasn't scouted at the sports festival will have a hard time lining one I am afraid. Originally, normal agencies recruit on their own. We will explain more about the work study position and what that program entails at a later date but for now we have got other things to worry about. That is all, sorry to keep you waiting, Mic" Mr Aizawa said, looking at the door.

"1st period is English!! In other words, it's jam time!! It's been ages since I stood on the stage, you miss me?? We have got a lot to cover today, let's get rolling with it you dig!!" Present Mic yelled.

{BACK AT THE DORMS}

"Excuse me but what's with the dust Bakugo?" Sero said.

"DEKU, YOU WAS SUPPOSED TO DO THAT, SHUT UP!" Bakugo yelled.

"Hahaha" Sero laughed.

"HEY, YOU CAN'T EVEN CLEAN SOMETHING RIGHT YOU IDIOT!" Bakugo yelled at Midoriya.

"R-Right, sorry" Midoriya stuttered.

"Man, I am so beat" Sato said.

"Hey guys, if you put your trash in the halls, I'll take everything down in a second" Midoriya said.

"So, Present Mic's class today" Shoto sighed.

"Are you lost as I was?" Eijiro said.

"Were we supposed to know all of the grammar he was going over" Sato said.

"Oh yeah, that's right. I was like is this even English?" Mina said.

"Agreed" I said.

"About those work studies, I was scouted so I hope I get to participate in one" Jiro said.

"Maybe we can go to the places we did our internships" Ojiro said.

"In just one day, I've been completely left behind if that's what you're thinking, right house arrests?" Iida teased.

"Um Iida, what is a work study?" Midoriya said.

"Something I can't tell you about!! The teachers forbidden us to give you any details about our classes. Sorry but you will just have to experience the same shock and surprise that we went through. Did you catch that Bakugo and Midoriya??" Iida said.

"I heard you loud and clear Iida" Midoriya said, raising his hand.

"SHUT YOUR MOUTH, I HEARD YOU FOUR EYES!" Bakugo yelled.

{Izuku Midoriya}

'I really hate this, I'm falling behind' I thought to myself.

"Ha, trash am I right? What are you doing you know, you can throw away the food trays with the burnable, don't you?" a head in the wall said.

"Uhhhh, yeah" I said.

"Hmm" the head nodded with a smile.

"What was that?" I said.

"So you must be the excitable first year aren't you Hahaha, I bet that was a freaky surprise for you. Kinda sorry about that, I got to admit, I did pop up here because I thought you would be shocked though" the wall head said but from the ground in front of me this time.

"What are you?" I asked.

"Hahaha, that is not a bad question. I admit sometimes I even weird myself out you on, once in a blue moon. But do not worry, you are going to find out who I am soon enough. I am just glad that it looks like you have a fighting spirit, you see the true is people are talking about you so I came to see what the fuss is all about" the floating head said before disappearing.

'I felt like I have seen that guy somewhere before' I thought to myself.

I returned to school.

{THE NEXT MORNING IN MR AIZAWA's HOMEROOM CLASS}

Midoriya walked into class apologizing to all of us on his way to his seats. Me and Shoto noticed a file on our desk.

"That's the spirit, do it Midoriya!" Eijiro said with a fist in the air.

"Morning. Now that Midoriya is back, we will go into more detail about what the work studies entail. Go ahead and come in" Mr Aizawa said, looking at the door.

*Creak*

"I will have people who had experienced the work studies first hand to explain. I suggest that you will listen carefully how they point out how work studies differ from internships. These three are 3rd years at UA, they rank at the very top of our student body. You may know them as the big three" he finished as the big three walked to the front of the class.

'It's him' Midoriya thought to myself.

"Why do I have a file on my desk?" I asked.

"Yeah, why do I have one too?" Shoto asked.

"Those files that you two have is your first official mission which came straight from the Hero Commission, I suggest having a read later" Mr Aizawa said, nodding our heads a little as the two of us were going to have a look at it later.

Midoriya's house arrest has come to an end and he has returned to class to find out what work studies are. Meanwhile, Bakugo still has one day left of house arrest. Who is this guy that Midoriya saw yesterday and who are the big three and what is a work study?
