CHAPTER 96: CONGRATULATIONS BAKUGO

We were continuing the discussion from today's match.

"Shinso, at the very end there...you were trying to get me to brawl head on so you could whip out your special combat moves, right? It was crazy how fast you acted to try and stop me with those falling pipes. And you used the binding cloth like Mr Aizawa does. Honestly, in the first match, I thought that your team did a great job at putting your quirk front and center. But you are ore than that power, your judgement and moves were on par with ours. Watching you hold your own with our classes was so inspiring. I am blown away! But my quirk didn't help anyone in the match. In fact, I put people in danger!"  Midoriya said.

"That is a good point" Mr Aizawa said.

"We still have much to analyze from these fights. But I would say in all probability, Shinso will join the hero course in your second year. Just make sure you don't let him outshine you!" Vlad said.

"Congratulations Shinso!" I said with a small smile.

"T-Thanks Ellie" he stuttered with a blush on his face and his hand behind his neck.

"Got it!" the others said in unison.

"Which class will he join?" Kaminari asked.

"A?" Eijiro said.

"B?" Tetsutetsu said.

"The particulars will come later. The training critiques are far from over" Vlad said.

"Hmph...it is true that in a tragic twist of fate Class B were defeated today. But we did not necessarily lose if you look at what we planned! If I would know that Midoriya's quirk was a blank then we would have come up with some tactics in response. In other words...if we were to fight again right now, there is no telling who would win!" Monoma said.

"That is enough out of you! Today's class is already over!" Vlad said.

"If I had know that Midoriya's quirk was a blank, who knows! Hahaha" Monoma said with a laugh.

"Monoma, I have a task for you...come visit Eri tomorrow" Mr Aizawa said.

Eri...why?

Me, Kacchan and All Might were in Gym Gamma, trying to activate Blackwhip again. All Might was standing on the sidelines while young Bakugo and young Midoriya sparing in the air.

"What is wrong with you? Use it already!" I heard young Bakugo shout out as he shot some explosions at Young Midoriya.

"Whoa!" I said as I was dodging Kacchan's blasts.

"What are you scared or something?" Kacchan yelled.

"Wait, wait, wait. I am trying but it won't activate!" I said  as I started to panic.

"Stop! That is not how you should approach this! Cut it out!" All Might yelled with some blood coming out of his mouth.

"The new power is useless if it does not work when he is in trouble" Kacchan yelled as he landed back on the ground.

"Uh, were we supposed to make sure it does not come out. Well Young Midoriya, how do you fell?" All Might said.

"Like I did before the training match. I do not sense Blackwhip anymore" I said.

"You are not feeling any danger. If I really beat you down, it will come back. The only thing to do is to kick the crap out of you and force the energy to go wild again" Kacchan yelled.
