CHAPTER 20: BAKUGO VS ELLIE TODOROKI

{Ellie Todoroki}

This is finally it. Is this the final match. And it's against Bakugo. I have got to win this. For my dad, gramps, grammy, Shoto, Fuyumi and Natsuo. It all leads to this moment.

"Hey, what the hell are you doing in here, this is my space...crap, this is waiting room two" Bakugo yelled as he kicked the door open.

"Alright fine. So I may have walked into the wrong room but don't think that means I am not going to be on top of my game, you got that. You better bring all of what you've got, you hear me" Bakugo yelled at me.

"I heard that from Midoriya" I said.

"Huh?" Bakugo questioned.

"He said the same thing before our match, that fool was trying to win the match himself so he is focused on winning. You two were childhood friends, right was he like that when you were kids, so helpful" I said to him.

"What does that have to do with anything?" Bakugo asked.

"It's all between you and me. Now focus on the match...that is the only thing I give a damn about whatever you say. Just make sure you don't hold back. I want everyone to know that I beat you at your best" he said as he stormed out of the room.

"Welcome to the final battle of the UA High sports festival. In just a moment, we would see which first year will come out on top. Yes, it all comes down to this folks. From the hero course, it's Ellie Todoroki vs her classmate, Katsuki Bakugo" Mic announced.

NOW BEGIN!

As soon as the battle began, I got in close while I activated my flames to try and attack him up close before he can attack.

"Damn it! Rahhhh!" Bakugo growled as he used his explosions to dodge the attack.

Mic's announcements were really shocked, saying that it's possible that there might be winner but Bakugo managed to get in close to attack me while I barely dodged the attack before landing another hit, pushing Bakugo back a little.

"Woah, this battle is getting really intense" Kirishima said.

"I know right" Midoriya said.

"Ellie has to win this, she's got to since she has made a promise to me, her dad and the rest of our family that she will win" Shoto said.

"You can do it Ellie!" Mina exclaimed from the stands.

One blast that was sounded from our attacks and Bakugo became visible, he is panting with some sweat dripping on his forehead.

"You have got some powerful attacks" he said before he is exploding his way towards me.

"BUT YOU HAVE GOT A BAD AIM! TRY HARDER!" he shouted.

Bakugo used an explosion to dodge my outstretched arm, only to grab me by other arm to slam me onto the ground.

"Are you underestimating me?!" he exclaimed.

Bakugo landed, he just through me over his shoulder while using his explosion to fuel him further away.

"YOU IDIOT!" he screamed.

The others that are watching the battle in total amazement. "She's so cool, she can totally win this thing" Kirishima said. "She just has to believe in herself" Shoto said. "Try and beat him Ellie!" Midoriya said as the others agreed.

Suddenly, Bakugo jumped up to attack me as I kicked him back when he was getting close and then Bakugo went sliding down onto one knee as he was looking down at the floor.

Bakugo stood back up.

"I will tell you what will happen if you are making a fool of me! I WILL KILL YOU!" Bakugo screamed as small explosions with his hands.

Flames erupted from the stage as I saw Bakugo smirk a little as he sent himself upwards, now propelling himself in circles, inching closer to me as I did my special move.

"Howitzer..."

"Spiral..."

Bakugo let a hand out as I did the same.

"IMPACT!"

"ATTACK!"

There was a giant explosion that came out of our hands as I landed on the ground after I jumped.

Bakugo was pushed from the impact and went out of bounds and he was laying on the floor unconscious.

"Bakugo is out of bounds, that means Todoroki is the winner!" Midnight announced.

"And with that, the final match is finally over! The first year champion of the UA Sports Festival is Ellie Todoroki from Class 1A!" Mic announced.

<TIME SKIP A LITTLE>

I am heading down the corridor as I was walking towards the main stage, awaiting for the ceremony to start.

"The first year students have completed all of the events of the events for the UA Sports Festival! Now it is time to relax and enjoy the awards ceremony!" Midnight started to say.

As confetti and cheers went off.

"Now, let start shall we? Of course there is only one person worthy of giving out these awards!" Midnight continued to say.

I hear a mighty laughter throughout the stadium and I looked up to see All Might doing a front flip as he approached Midnight.

"All Might, why don't you start the presentation" Midnight said after he approached her. 

"Hahahahahaha, young Tokoyami...third place is not a bad start. Just try a little harder next time but this will be a great opportunity to shine" All Might told him.

"Young Bakugo taking second place! You should be proud to get this accomplishment and next time, you might be able to beat young Todoroki" All Might said as he placed the medal around Bakugo's neck.

"And now young Todoroki, you should be really proud of this achievement. Your family should be really proud of you" All Might said as he put the medal around my neck and I smiled a little.

"There they are...the winners of this year's Sports Festival!" All Might announced as the award ceremony and all of us returned to class.

"Nice work, you have the next two days of school off to recuperate. I am sure that the pros that was watching the festival will want to recruit some of you. Then you will have look over the draft forms and updates when you return to class. Get some rest, you still have a lot of training to do" Mr Aizawa said.

I got out of my seat so that I can talk to Shoto for a little bit. Then Kirishima want to talk to me for a little bit afterwards before I left.

'She is really beautiful' Kirishima thought to himself.

From out of nowhere, Kirishima gave me a quick peck on the lips and then I quickly took off like a flustered mess.

'What did he just do?!' I thought to myself.
