CHAPTER 52: PROTECT AND SAVE

{IN THE ANTE ROOM}

The 100 students that passed the first part of the exam are now in the Ante Room...eating, drinking and talking awaiting for the second part of the exam to start.

Me and Eijiro were enjoying each other's company until...

"Hey pretty girl, can't I say that I'm surprised you passed. You were on fire out there and I'm not talking about your quirk" Shindo said with a wink.

"Well, well, well...if isn't pretty boy. You passed too huh, thanks for the compliment but I am taken and not really that interested!" I said with a smile.

"Damn, pretty and feisty. I could tell that you like her Kirishima" he teased.

"I know that she is hot so I don't blame you to take a liking to her but she is mine, get lost Earth boy!" Eijiro exclaimed.

I blushed a little.

"Ok, I'm going. Hey pretty girl, you have my number so my offer still stands, have fun with the red head" he said with a smile.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY!" Kirishima called out.

"Eijiro...don't! Thanks but no thanks so BACK OFF Shindo! I will stick with the red headed boyfriend" I said as I am looking into Eijiro's red eyes.

He just blushed.

"You two are perfect for each other, Kirishima, treat her well. See you two out there" he said with a wave.

"LIKE HELL!" he exclaimed.

"Thanks, bye Shindo" I said as I waved.

"He doesn't know when to quit, does he?" Eijiro said.

"No, he doesn't. Don't worry Eijiro, he is cute but he isn't really my type and I am already taken" I said.

"O-Oh, really? Then what is your type?" Eijiro asked, curiously.

"Oh, I do not know...red heads with red eyes and always full of surprises" I said with a blush.

"Ohh, is that right?" Eijiro said with a light blush on his cheeks.

I giggled and laced my hand with his, making him blush even more.

"Oh right, for the 100 of you who passed the first test, please turn your attention to the screen" Mera started to say.

*Boom*

"There is only one more round for the exam, your goal is simple. Undertake rescue exercises and save the bystanders who are trapped in these disaster sights" he continued to say.

"Save the what now?" Kaminari asked.

"Bystanders, remember. Mr Aizawa taught us in class...they are innocent citizens on the streets" Yaoyorozu said.

"Use this time to show us how you will carry out successful rescue procedures, once you receive your provisional license, treat this as though it was the real thing. These specialists have been trained as professional people in need of rescue, they are very popular. Introducing the Help Us Company, also know as HUC for short. The HUC bystanders have dressed up like injured victims and will be located throughout the disaster sight. We will be judging how well you keep them safe as you go about your mission. Oh, by the way, we will be scoring you on the point system so if you have more points then the benchmark by the time the exercise come to an end, then you pass the exam. We will start in 10 minutes. Take care of any unnecessary preparations now" Mera finished.

{10 MINUTES LATER}

"Hey...you with the collar. Did I offend you somehow?" Shoto asked the Shiketsu student named Inasa as I went up to the two of them.

"Oh no. I'm sorry that I did your hurt your feelings. Well, the thing is son of Endeavor, I can't help but hate the two of you. You've changed a little bit since we first met but you have your father's eyes" Inasa said as he left.

"Hey, don't listen to him. Just focus on passing the exam since failure isn't an option for the two of us" I said.

"Yeah, your right. I'll focus on this test and pass" Shoto said as I smiled a little.

*Bzz*

"Villains have performed a large scale terror attack. Most of the buildings have collapsed there and many are injured" Mera started to say.

That's the background story, we're starting the second test.

*Open*

"Due to heavenly damaged roads, the first responders have unfortunately been delayed for the time being. Until the emergency services arrive, the heroes in the area will lead the rescue efforts. Your task is to save as many people as you can and help the injured. And with that BEGIN!" he finished.

*Bzz*

"Let's start by going to the closest Urban Area and we will work as a team" Iida said.

"I'll help you" I said.

"Me too" Shoto said.

"See you soon pebble" Eijiro said.

"You too" I said as I blushed a little as he started to follow Bakugo.

"Right so try and get this over quickly for me, yeah?" Mera announced.

<TIME SKIP A LITTLE>

Me, Shoto, Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, Sato and Sero are helping moving with some debris while trying to rescue a bystander.

"Help somebody!" he yelled out in pain.  

I made my way through to get to the young boy.

"Jeepers miss, you are really strong!" the boy said as we got out.

"Try to be careful next time" I said with a smile and then I'm taking the little boy to get some first aid.

"Hey...what's his condition?" someone asked from triage.

"He was crushed by some debris, a few broken bones" I said.

"I will take him from here, thank you miss" she said.

"You're-" I started to say as I just heard an explosion.

"A villain has completed another large scale attack. Terrorists have appeared and they are beginning to sweep the area. Hero candidates at the scene should continue to their rescues while supressing the newly arrived villains" Mera announced.

'We will have to protect and save? Fight or run away?' I thought to myself.

Damn, this exam is no joke!
