𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆, clinging onto Vhagar as he moved her to Aelora's direction. He was nowhere near her, but he was hopeful. Watching his wife fall to her death at the hands of his brother was not something he was looking forward to. Because if she did die, King's Landing would disappear in a mere second.

But the Cannibal had beat him to it, he flew underneath the Princess and straightened her on his back as he flew back up in the sky. Words couldn't describe what Aelora was feeling right now. She had almost faced death, and part of her felt peace with it. She saw Vermithor laying on the hardened floors beneath her, lifeless. The bolt shot by Larys had caused his death. Her savior, her protector - dead.

The fighting on ground had come to a pause when the gigantic beast had fallen on the other side. The smallfolk dared to exit their houses to see it all. They recognized this beast, they knew who he belonged to. But they had sworn no oath to Aelora, for most of them she was the usurper.

So they cheered. They cheered for the demise of Vermithor's death. Jacaerys was watching them as they would kick the beast and hurt him even more with their pitchforks. The young Prince felt his heart shatter for Aelora, he knew she was watching them all.

And she was. She saw how these people, her people, were mutilating her bestest friend. even Aegon had fallen quiet, because he couldn't lie, the loss of a dragon would be enough to go mad.

The single tear on Aelora's side fell on the Cannibal's side. He felt her getting angrier, more vengeful with the second. Her lip trembled in anger as her focus never left Vermithor and the people around him. "I told I wouldn't become Queen of the ashes," she spoke to Aegon. Her bloodshot eyes bore into his. "I see now how stupid I was." The Cannibal spread his gigantic wings as he flew past Aegon back down. The Cannibal flew in a straight line over King's Landing, as close to the ground as he possibly could. "What is your wife's plan, Aemond? She is dangerously low," Daeron asked Aemond. But he had no answer. Whatever it is she was doing, whatever her plan is, he would follow her. "Get in my way and I will kill you and your dragon."

Aelora didn't even need to say the words for the Cannibal had already bared his teeth to release the fire onto the people below him. Houses burning, innocent people injured as they ran for their lives from the woman who they titled as mad. Perhaps she was, but perhaps she had been made mad. Daemon stopped in battle as the shadow of the Cannibal turned the air around him dark. He jumped out of the way before the fire burned him alive. Even if he feared for his life, even a second there, he felt proud. He had always hoped she would snap and follow into his footsteps. She had now realized her full power and potential, and for that he thanked the Gods above him.

The Cannibal's shrieks terrified the people. The majority of them found themselves injured, for most of them had already met their horrible fate. Death couldn't come soon enough as they lay there gasping for air, skin peeling off because of the dragon fire. And Aelora wasn't done yet, this was merely the beginning. The whole of King's Landing crumbled down as it went up in flames. Cregan's army kept pushing forward in order of their King, he would not surrender, not when his Queen was showing her truest from.

Larys jumped out of the way, but found himself to be too late. The Cannibal had taken him between his teeth, a crunch sounding through the air as he bit him in half - his lower body falling recklessly down. Alicent had seen it all now, through the window of her chamber. And she saw it now, Aelora was Rhaenyra's revenge. It was as if she was seeing Rhaenyra in battle. Oh, how she missed her. She would do everything to see her one last time, even if it meant her killing Alicent.
