You walked toward the infirmary. Before you got there though, you looked out the window to see Deidara and Tobi setting out for some mission. You sighed. There would be no missions for you in a while now. You looked away from the window and continued to walk towards the infirmary. You soon saw the doorway to the infirmary come into sight. As your hand hovered over the doorknob you hesitated. You took a deep breath and turned the knob. You opened it and stepped inside, closing the door behind you.
"Well, well, if it ain't the princess," Hidan said as you stood near his bed.
"Shut up Hidan," Kakuzu ordered from his bed.
"Hey you two, feeling better?" you asked with a smile.
"Grr. Does it look like I'm better?!" Hidan yelled. You looked at his severed body covered by a blanket.
"Well, Sasori did do his best of stitching you back together," you pointed out. "But he's not Kakuzu. And Kakuzu lost four hearts, he can't stitch you back together right now."
"You think I don't know that?" Hidan demanded. You pulled a chair between their beds and sat down.
"Guys, I-"
"We won't rat you out," they both interrupted.
"W-what?" you stuttered as you stared at them with wide eyes.
"We won't tell Leader... you know," Hidan cupped his hands around his mouth and whispered loudly, "That you let the Leaf shinobi get away."
"So, you let them go again huh?" Sasori's voice asked from the doorway as he closed it and stepped inside with a medicine bottle in hand.
"Sasori," you whispered.
"Hey, you're not gonna rat her out puppet boy! Or else..." Hidan threatened.
"Or else what?" Sasori pressed on the matter.
"I'll sacrifice you to jashin!"
"If I didn't rat her out last time, what makes you think I'll rat her out this time?" Sasori asked bluntly as he walked toward the counter and opened a few drawers. He pulled out five more jars and mixed some of the medicine in each before filling a syringe.
"What do you mean 'last time'?" Hidan asked.
Sasori brought up the syringe and pushed the bottom, a bit of the medicine shooting out, as he spoke, "You didn't think this was the first time this happened, did you?" he walked over to Kakuzu's bed and injected the medicine into one of the tubes connected to the medicine bags. (Whatever they're called.)
"Oh! So that's where she was?" Hidan asked.
Sasori nodded. "I'm surprised Deidara didn't rat her out."
"Yeah, with those extra mouths of his, you never really know," Hidan said.
"You okay kid?" Kakuzu interrupted. Sasori pulled the needle out of the tube and looked at you. Hidan stopped making his rude remarks and also looked at you. You were staring off into space, your head facing the ground. "Kid?"
"Huh?" you looked up to find all three men staring at you. "What?"
"Are you okay?" Kakuzu repeated.
You nodded. "I'm fine," you whispered and went back to your thoughts. They're after me again. What will I do? I can't stay here and risk the Akatsuki being in danger, not after all they've done for me.
"You're not fine," Kakuzu stated matter of factly. You looked back up at him. "I know something's up."
"What's troubling you princess?" Hidan asked.
