You walked out of the hideout and stepped out into the cold air. The rain was still not here. You looked up and watched the dark clouds. They were heavy with rain, but none would fall. You walked among the paths and through the village.

"Aiko, where are you going?"

You turned around and saw a blue haired woman standing behind you with a blank expression. "Konan. I... uh... nowhere really."

"I heard what happened, are you alright?"

"You don't seem very worried to me," you deadpanned.

Konan frowned and pulled you into an alleyway. "You think I'm not worried about you?" she asked sternly, her emotionless face falling. "Of course I'm worried about you. Itachi told me everything he could remember. Which wasn't very helpful."

Your eyes widened. "What... exactly... did he tell you?"

"That you got in the way after Sasuke delivered the final blow... again. And then you collapsed from using too much chakra on bringing him back," Konan eyed you skeptically. "Is that where you were throughout the entire night?"

"Uh... maybe?" you answered innocently.

"Do you know how worried we were? Well, those of us that knew you were gone."

"Say... how did Leader NOT find out? Kakuzu told me you, him, and Sasori covered for me. But, how?"

"Oh nothing much," Konan answered. "We just had Sasori create a puppet identical to you. Then we just had him make her act like you, or as close to your personality as we could make him act, and I made her chakra as similar to yours as I could. All three of us worked as hard as we could to keep Leader away from the puppet 'you'."

You smiled apologetically. "Sorry about that, really."

"I must admit, it felt strange talking to puppet and making it answer me in the same way I thought you would have," a bored voice said and Sasori landed beside you."I felt pathetic."

"Are you calling me pathetic?" you asked in an offended tone.
"No, I'm just not used to acting joyful like you," Sasori answered. "I must have looked like a fool."

You laughed. "You never were the joyful type."

Sasori glared lightly at you. "Shut up."

"Enough you two, you're acting like children," Konan said.

"Sorry," you apologized.

"In any case, you're not hurt? Seriously?" Konan asked with worry etching its way into her voice.

You nodded. "I'm fine Konan, really."

"You better be brat," Sasori muttered as he grabbed your arms and inspected it."you appear to have any physical wounds," he looked up at you while still holding your wrist. Understanding came over his eyes, but you didn't know why. However, you could guess what his next question was going to be: 'What about emotional wounds?' Was he able to see the pain in my eyes? You thought.

"Yup, I'm fine!" you smiled. "Any way, I was wondering if I could go outside the village today?"

Konan frowned slightly. "Why is that?"

You shrugged. "I just can't stand being confined to the village. I'll take someone with me if you want me to. Please just... just let me go out of the village."

"You were already out of the village," Konan pointed out.

"I was but I didn't do much except get Itachi out of trouble," you replied.
