"Alright kid, you're doing good, now focus."

You did as Kakuzu ordered and focused the chakra you had already harnessed. Slowly, you release some of the chakra and control the wind with it.

"Good Aiko, now speed it up," Pein ordered.

He and Kakuzu stood on opposite sides of you, one in front and the other behind, as you sat on a flat stone. Your brow furrowed in concentration as you increased the speed of the wind. The air around you picked up speed. Soon, it was travelling at 150mph. They told you no faster than 200mph, so you were fine.

"How's this?!" you shouted. Your hair was tied back in a ponytail to keep it out of your face, but your bangs and that untamable lock of hair weren't on your side.

"You're doing good!" Kakuzu shouted back.

"Try to slow it down now!" Pein ordered.

You did as he said and reduced the amount of concentrated chakra. The wind slowed down quickly and soon, it was going no faster than 30mph.

"She's good," Kakuzu commented as he maintained a hand sign.

"Indeed," Pein answered as he held the same hand sign. "You can stop now Aiko."

You did as he said and took a deep breath. "Ha! That was tiring."

"And you're not even halfway through," Pein stated.

"What?" you frowned. "How much more?"

"It's true you've pretty much grasped the concept of how to handle this ability, but there can be other uses for it," Pein said.

"Do you know of this jutsu?" you asked with a raised eyebrow.

Pein nodded. "Try coming as close to me as possible."

"Huh?" you glared at him slightly but did as he told you to anyway. He remained silent the entire time. You narrowed your eyes at him and eyed him from head to toe suspiciously, until you hit an invisible barrier. You stumbled backwards and fell into Kakuzu's arms. "What the—?"

"That's the wind current you were trying to do just now," Pein interrupted. Then, his cloak and hair began to move around wildly and you were able to hear the wind as it howled.

   "How—?"

"While the outer barrier of wind is spinning rapidly to the left, the inner barrier is spinning at the same speed in the opposite direction," Kakuzu explained.

You turned your head to looked up at him. "But... shouldn't the wind currents cancel each other out?"

"Not necessarily," Pein answered and you turned back to him. "There is a hollow space of two inches between both currents of air and therefore, they will not touch each other or come in contact at all unless the jutsu caster's focus is interrupted."

"What happens if that does occur?" you asked.

"Then there will be wild wind," Kakuzu answered. "At times, the wind temperature will either rise or fall, and a tornado could be the result. If you're not careful and that happens, the tornado will act as if it was a naturally caused tornado and destroy everything in its path as it moves throughout the lands."

"However, if you want to stop it, you can," Pein continued. "But you'd need a fire style user to increase the heat of the current."

"I get it," you murmured slowly while still processing some of the information. "Since a tornado is the result of cold wind travelling downwards and warm wind travelling upwards, you'd need to heat the cold wind from the bottom. That way, there would be warm wind at both the top and bottom, causing the cold wind to disappear and the tornado to dissipate."
