You slowly regained your consciousness. Your eye lids felt too heavy, so you didn't even bother to open them.

"Did I hit 'er too hard?"

That voice... it sounds like Hidan.

"No you fool."

And, Sasori.

"I'm not a fool! But she's been unconscious for a long time now."

"Thirty minutes is not a long time."

"It is to me."

"Shut up Hidan."

"Make me doll boy."

There was an annoyed sigh. "Not now, Aiko's asleep and I have to look after her and the dumb bomber. So how about you go dig a grave and die?"

"You really are stupid yourself. I can't die remember?"

You forced your eyes open. "Once I'm finished with you, you're gonna wish you could die."

"Princess!" Hidan exclaimed with wide eyes.

"You're finally awake brat," Sasori said.

"Yeah, and now that I am," you glared at Hidan. "What the heck did you do you bastard?"

"Wha?" Hidan scowled at you. "Listen princess, I only did what that blasted Leader of ours told me to okay? I was supposed to get you away from the battle sight by any means necessary, and that's exactly what I did. Now if you wanna kill anyone, go kill Pein. Then again, he was in the middle of a battle so you could just go and spill his strengths and weaknesses to that old man. That way, he can have more of an upper hand. Or, you can just side with the old man and give Pein a good beating. Either way, I don't give a damn."

"Shut up!" you yelled. You swung your legs over the bed, stood and jumped at Hidan with your fist drawn. His eyes widened but he wasn't able to jump out of the way as your fist connected with his cheek. He fell to the ground and looked up with a hand on his jaw as you towered over him. "You listen to me now, got it? I have my own thoughts and opinions that I want to share with you, and fighting an old sensei is NOT what a student should do, whether the sensei is on the same, or opposite side of things. Leader says he wants to achieve world peace, but this is not going on the path to peace. In order to achieve peace, people have to understand and care for one another. Sharing pain might be a way yes, but not this time. Happiness is another way to join people together.

"Think about the average human being. We have all experienced some kind of pain at one point or another. Rejection, hateful words, hateful actions,or even our own actions give us pain. The pain of losing others... it only leads to hate. I've said this before, I want to achieve a world devoid of hatred and war. If Pein wants to achieve such a world, is battling and possibly killing his sensei the right way to go? Is that how you would achieve peace?"

Hidan remained silent for a moment. He looked thoughtful for a moment. You turned to Sasori. He stared into your eyes emotionlessly.

"This fool won't understand brat," he said calmly. "He has no idea how to take in even a fourth of what you just said."

"If that's the case," you said. "Then would you like to give me your opinion Sasori?"

"Is killing a sensei the right way to go? No," Sasori answered. "Is that how you achieve peace? No. To achieve peace, I think much like you do now. People have to understand and care for one another."

You nodded. "Glad to know someone thinks like I do," you said and looked back at Hidan. He was still silent and staring at the ground. You knelt down in front of him and he looked up to meet your gaze. "People that work together in order to overcome pain... that's how you achieve peace. It starts out small, maybe in a small village like this one, but it can spread so long as people are willing to help others."
