There's so many files here. You thought as you searched through the 'A' section. So far, you had no luck in finding intel about the clan. Amashi... huh. I guess it makes sense it would be a hard to find file if their information is classified. You pulled out yet another box and frowned. More information about previous Raikage and ninja registration forms.
"Does it have to be so hard to find one file?" you whispered and placed the box back on the shelf. There was a crash, one that sounded much louder than it probably was, from somewhere two aisles down. You froze and your eyes widened. Slowly, very slowly and quietly, you made your way over to the sound. Your footsteps were nothing, you couldn't be heard as you were about to turn the corner. You took a deep breath and peeked around the corner of the shelf.
Once you saw no one, you let out a breath you hadn't realized you'd been holding. Not a single person was in that aisle. There was nothing except for a box on the ground, its contents spilled all over the floor. You walked over to it and knelt down. A. The contents were still from the 'A' section. Your eyes widened as they locked on that lone word on one of the envelopes. Amashi. Written in big, bold letters right there on the front of the orange yellow envelope.
With shaky hands and great anticipation, you pulled that envelope out and opened it. That's when something unexpected and uncalled for happened. There was a faint ringing form afar. Then, there were red lights flashing and ringing in the room you were in. You knew... I've been discovered! You put the papers back in the Amashi envelope and shoved the other envelopes into the box and onto the shelf. The Amashi envelope was tucked into an inside pocket of your cloak as you ran for the door.
You rushed out of the lockers without encountering anyone. However, the halls weren't so promising. Nine Cloud shinobi stood there. But they weren't ANBU, probably jonin. You recognized the one in the front of the rest and scowled at him.
Yoshirou smirked. "Come on, you didn't really think you could trust me, did you?"
"I knew I couldn't trust you, Yoshirou," you spat the last word as if it were poison. "I just had to take the risk if I wanted to know more—"
"About your clan," Yoshirou interrupted. You remained calm but your mouth fell slightly ajar. Yoshirou's smirk grew. "Yes, I know you belong to that clan. Why else would you want to know more about them? Or even know about their existence? Everyone used to know about them in the Third Shinobi World War, then they knew nothing about them."
"You're the ones who killed them," you realized with wide eyes.
Yoshirou chuckled and brushed his beard with his fingers. "You're partially correct there girly," he said and smirked as he looked straight through your hood to where your eyes were. You were glad you still had the hood on. Yoshirou knew how you looked and could probably place the pieces together, but the other eight did not. That gave you a slight advantage.
"You bastards," you growled through clenched teeth. "I'm gonna—!"
"Gonna what? Kill us?" Yoshirou interrupted mockingly and stretched his hands out to the sides. "There's nine of us," he pointed at you. "And one of you. We're the specialized team here, our leader is the Raikage's right hand man. What can a little girl like you possibly hope to do against us?"
"Once the ANBU get here, I'll have more people on my tail. Until then..." you made a hand sign. "I'll fight you off."
A spirit rhino appeared behind you. It broke through the wall to your left and barreled through the rest of the walls toward the outside while you followed behind. Once outside, it crashed through a large boulder before disappearing and you continued running through the streets. Citizens screamed and moved out of the way as you passed by.
