Osas is from a big family. Her mom has nine sisters and seven of them are currently living in their father's house.

Apparently her grandfather tried to have a son but ended up with 10daughters and their family was famous for not being able to stay in their matrimonial home

Some of them didn't even have husbands to begin with so people often referred to them as cursed

Osas mom had twins when she was seventeen and her father didn't take responsibility for the pregnancy unfortunately she lost her son and it was just Osas and her mom had to take care of her daughter on her own

And she didn't want her friend to share the same fate infact she took her to an all girls school because she didn't want osas to be deceived and taken advantage of by any man

Things went awfully weird the following week
Onome got into a huge fight with some girl from senior classes and as usual the girls had to defend their friend.

They started retaliating and in no time the feud blew out of proportion and turned into a school riot
Many of them got hurt and it took the whole week before the school authorities could get things back in order

Osas couldn't go to the estate because she got bruises on her face and arm from fighting and didn't want Edafe to see her like that

So by Monday afternoon osas was healed up and ready to go see him
She catch up with Grace who was already on her way home

"Ahhh Grace wait nah! Have been calling you since. How come you didn't wait for me"

"I.... I thought you didn't want to come anymore "

"Why not ? You know I couldn't come last week because of what happened in school "

She nodded

"Yeah but ain't you going to our estate to see Raphael "

"Yes! "

"Well Raphael and his brother left already "

"Left to where??"

"They actually traveled out of the country "

Osas eyes nearly poke out

"Out of Nigeria as in overseas"

"Yeah! Their parents came to pick them up and then they left"

Osas was startled
"But why didn't you tell me any of this since"

"I didn't know they left the country at first it was later when my mom asked after them from their grandma that she gave us the goodnews"

"So they are really gone"

"Hmmm Hmm!!"

"You don't know when they will be back"

"I don't think they are coming back"

Osas felt so bad, for a second she thought grace was pulling her legs but then Grace wouldn't even dare to play such trick with her

While osas was lost in thought
Grace got impatient and told her

"Sorry Osas I have to go pick my brothers from school and am already running late"

Osas nodded and grace walked away
This was a sad moment for osas she didn't expect her love story to end before it even started

That evening at home osas couldn't even eat
She felt jilted and used. It broke her heart that Raphael would just leave without a second thought
As if they didn't share something special

Osas started feeling different three weeks later
Her aunty made yam porridge for dinner and because  it was her favorite meal so she took a larger portion
