After the anorexia period was over, osas went into full nonstop eating phase. She was always hungry and craving the weirdest things ever

One time she trekked several miles just to buy roasted corn and pear from a roadside seller.

This pregnancy was going to be different she could feel it, her body was stretching early and it won't take too long before she starts showing

Mrs Erabor has been the sweetest she was always calling to check up on osas, sending fruit baskets to the saloon and supplements

Even Momo started to noticed something was up with the special treatment osas was receiving lately but osas was trying to take it one day at a time. The father needs to know and then everyone else

And as it turned out, Raphael traveled to Abuja for a business trip shortly after osas went to see the gynecologist with Mrs Erabor and they confirmed the pregnancy was going well

Raphael came back two weeks later and immediately Helen summoned him to her house and invited osas to come over

It was Sunday evening so osas went along with Ivie. Raphael was already there when they arrived and he was really happy to see them. He wasn't sure why his mother called him but she sounded serious on the phone

Helen called the parents upstairs to her husband's study while Ivie stayed back and watch TV

"Okay! Mom what's going on. Is everything okay?"
Raphael asked

"I waited two weeks for you to get back from your trip so we can have this conversation. This isn't something we can discuss over the phone "

"Good grief! What have I done now....?" His eyes met with osas trying to read the room has she reported him to his mother again.over what exactly?!

"Osas pls tell me him " this wasn't one of the moments when osas wanted to do the heavy lifting but it's her news to tell so she might as well just rip the bandaid off

"Edafe......" she started slowly
"I mean Raphael. So uhmmm.....you remember our intimate moments in December it has uhmmm...."
She cleared her throat
"It has resulted into pregnancy" that sounded odd

Raphael stood still, he didn't even move a muscle it was like he didn't hear anything she just said

"I am pregnant Raphael and it's yours" she repeated again using more precise words

His eyelids were moving slowly and then he was batting them continuously, his lips were slightly parted as if he wanted to say something he is not trying to be audible. Then sweat beads begin to lace his forehead, this man is about to go into cardiac arrest
'Osas thought '

"Well don't just stand there? Say something"
His mother yelled at him

He ran his hand over his head and face and wiped off the sweat beads on his forehead

This was the last thing he was expecting to hear infact he didn't see it coming at all and he was about to explode in full panic mode

"I hope you realize the gravity of what you have done Raphael, osas is carrying your second child now. This changes everything ........"
Raphael zoomed out of the conversation until he heard his name being yelled at his face repeatedly

"What's wrong with you?" Helen asked when she noticed he was trembling

He leaned forward and sat down quickly on the closest seat

"Oh! My! God!...... How is this even happening "

"Oh so you thought you could eat your cake and have it. You thought none of us will find out about your affair if osas didn't get pregnant "
