Helen had a hard time understanding what she just heard, osas is pregnant again and it's Raphael's
None of this makes any sense

"How is that even possible, I don't understand "
Helen jumped up on her feet

"Neither do I"

"Well it's based off on whether you both slept together"

"Yes we did " Helen gasped

"Osas what have you done"

"I know it's stupid and very irresponsible ma but I didn't plan to get pregnant "

Helen paced back and forth staring at the rest results over and over reading to see if anything changes or better still if this was all real

"How long have you know about this"

"So last week I was feeling really weak, I loss my appetite and I was getting really pale. My friend Ese who is a nurse suggested that I go to the hospital or at least visit a pharmacy so I went to the pharmacy and the lady gave me a pregnancy test kit I did the test the first time I wasn't sure of the results so I went back the next day and bought the kit again I rerun the test and it was positive again. So today to clear up all doubts I decided to visit the hospital and that's my confirmation right there"

"And you're sure this is 100% Raphael's child"
Osas raised a brow and played with her finger of course she doubts her she's his mother after all

"Yes" she answered slowly

"I don't mean to doubt you but I want you to think deeply about this, if there's any possibility that it might be someone else's baby you have to consider it and don't worry I'll support you either way"

"Am certain Ma'am" osas was already getting a little offended by her comment

"Oh God! What is wrong with you children" she slumped back on her seat and placed both hands on her head

"I wasn't expecting to get pregnant ma you have to believe me"

"How did this even happen? It says here that you're seven weeks pregnant so that's shortly before Christmas and from my understanding you were both not even at the same place at that time"

"It was before we traveled, the night of the saloon opening. He didn't show up for the ceremony even though I invited but he strolled in while I was trying to clean up and lock up the shop. If you recall Ivie went home with you that night and I was supposed to spend the night alone but my cousin Ejiro showed up and we were having an altercation and it got a little physical. At the time my cousin grabbed a wine bottle to hit me Raphael showed up and he got hit instead. So we had to get the wound treated "

"I remember he wore a bandaid 🩹 but he said it was a bathroom incident"

"I guess he didn't want me to mention what happened after that or why he ended up at my house. We went back to my apartment together coz he gave me a ride home and we decided to share a bottle of whiskey and just chat. One thing led to another and we had sex"

"Am sorry but I can't believe that Raphael will do such a thing. Did he take advantage of you, fill your heads with hopes and dreams about being together"

"No! No!! He didn't take advantage of me, we had consensual sex and No we didn't discuss getting together or becoming a couple afterwards "

"So you just decided to have sex"
Osas nodded

"Osas do you know how that sounds. It's pretty clear that you still have feelings for my son so I don't get why you'll just decide to have sex with him"

"It was a stupid idea and I know how it makes me look but maybe this is how it is supposed to be "

"Osas don't sell yourself short and I'm not trying to blame you alone for this whole situation am just trying to understand why you would let something like this happen "
