Helen asked Raphael to see her the next day at the shop, she wanted to discuss the matter further coz the way they left things last night was very worrisome and she didn't like how her son treated Osas

It's true that she just showed up out of nowhere and dropped a terrifying bombshell on them but the matter could have been handled better and she just wants to make sure he is not acting irrational moving forward

Raphael showed up at his mom's store by noon. He knew what this discussion was going to be about so he wasn't looking forward to it if he had his way he would not even show up until this whole thing dies down and his mom forgets about it

Helen sells brocade fabrics in large quantities, in different designs and textures she owns a very huge store in the island with unique fabrics and textiles to suit the high class of the society

Her office was at the far end of the store. The store had a showroom upfront and a warehouse upstairs

When Raphael arrived she was with a customer so he hung around the store to wait for her
That took about twenty minutes and he saw this as opportunity to leave and postpone this meeting but

Helen opened the door and asked him to come in as if she was reading his thoughts. She made him sit in the office with her as she wrap up with her customer

She walked the customer out when they were down and returned back to gulp a bottle of water

"Wow! That was exhausting..... Do you need anything son, water, coffee, soda"

"No mom am fine"

"Are you sure." He nodded
"Sorry for the delay The customer is very demanding and she insisted that I handle her purchase myself "

"Hmm actually mom I have to run now. I've got this gig I need to sort out for a meeting tomorrow "

"Oh so you want to run off and avoid a very important conversation"

"Mommy am not running off, I've been her for over thirty minutes. It's not my fault that you were busy"

"So what is going to happen to the matter on ground"

"Mommy there is no matter on ground we have already sorted this out yesterday "

"We didn't sort anything infact you just aggravate the whole issue. You really upset that girl last night Raphael and that's not a good thing. I raised you better than that"

"Mom I don't know why we are even discussing this, am not going to be opening doors for just anyhow person to storm into our lives"

"This is different "

"How is it different, people will say and do anything to get what they want"

"I don't think that is the case"

"How can you be so sure"

"Your brother recognizes her Raphael he said you two know each other"

"Doesn't mean that I impregnated her and by know each other you mean randomly talking on the streets once or twice"

"That still counts for something"

"Am not the father of her child come what may, I do not know why she would come up with such blatant lies"

"What if she is not lying"

"It can't be possible mom. It just can't"

"You are not even listening and that is what is pissing me off"
She took a deep breath

"Am just trying to get to the bottom of this as quickly as possible "

"I just don't want you wasting your time efforts and money "
