Epilogue

The twins were born in the evening of October 3rd. A day before osas had been admitted to the hospital because her blood pressure was high and her pupils were dilating.

Osas was scared that she was going to have another caesarean section for her second delivery. Even after her water broke in the morning her contractions were widely apart

The nurses made her walk back and forth for a while until her legs couldn't hold anymore. She was already terrified that they were going to tear her open

Raphael arrived very early in the morning and he looked pale as white, when he walked into the delivery room with his blue overall and nose mask, he reached out for osas hand and held it firmly

Osas couldn't tell who was trembling the most between the two of them but the vibration was clearly an echo of fear

After several attempts of push and deep breath, first baby pops out, he was absolutely adorable but the nurses didn't give osas a minute to hold him they wanted her to push immediately coz the second baby was close

She emanate all her energy to pushing second baby out he looked a bit bigger than his brother but he was just as beautiful

Osas gasped in shock she couldn't believe she actually did this on her own without the CS but shortly after the babies came out osas passed out and she was unconscious for a long time

Helen and Wema were with the babies when Raphael rushed out to announce that osas passed out and the doctor said she's unconscious

Helen could clearly see that he was terrified and Wema was also getting really scared she assured them that she was fine and it's pretty normal and osas will pull through soon

She then left the baby with Raphael to go and see what was going on. Osas had gone into a temporary state of shock where her body is minimally responsive

So they kept her under observation and hope she will come around soon

By midnight osas finally opened her eyes and everyone's spirit was uplifted again and they could celebrate the birth of twins and the survival of both the mother and her children

Raphael nearly lost his mind while osas was unconscious and he kept thinking of what would happen to him if osas didn't make it

What would happen to the twins or Ivie, how was he going to tell his kids that their mother didn't make it how would they survive without their mother

He gained a deep sense of gratitude when she finally woke up, this is more than just what it is. The foundation of what they have is based on the two parties being actively involved and there is no mother good enough to replace osas for their kids

And he wants to learn to appreciate her more and not take for granted the invaluable gift that she has given him

When he got back home the next day to shower and get a change of clothes
The door was opened and the lights were on

He wondered who was in his apartment he heard noise coming from the kitchen and he approached it quickly

He was stunned to find Wendy in the kitchen making tea

"Oh thank God you're here..... congratulations 🎈 "
She gave him a big hug and plastered his face with kisses

He couldn't believe she was actually here and hugging him it's been so long

"Oh my God babe! When did you get back"

"Yesterday.... I wanted to come to the hospital but I decided to let you all have that moment "
