The saloon was finally ready the name signage was brought and hung at the entrance on Friday
VIE's beauty saloon

So on Sunday osas decided to throw a small gathering to celebrate the opening of the saloon. She invited a few people to join in her celebration just something small to mark the beginning of something great

She invited Joyce and Ifeyinwa, her friend Becky from the nail arcade academy, Mrs Erabor since her husband recently traveled back abroad and her Sunday school teacher pastor Dan and his lovely wife she also extended her invitation to Raphael

She ordered finger food for 10people then she went ahead to make peppered ponmo and gizzard with yam fries, she made sure everything was set for Sunday evening

The small gathering starts by 5pm, osas was really excited about tonight's opening. She and Ivie got matching white dresses.

The previous day they had started the decorations of the shop with white and gold balloons and a sign that says 'Welcome to VIE beauty salon. Everything was set and in order, Momo oversee that aspect and ensure that everything was looking spectacular

They kicked off the ceremony by 5:30pm, pastor Dan started with the opening prayer and his wife gave a short speech on newly formed businesses and how they can thrive well in this economy including some of the ups and downs that is expected to happen

Mrs Salome has a very interesting personality though she's the wife of a pastor but she doesn't reframe from saying things as it should be. Osas loved her right away and she kept encouraging osas to attend church often so they have kind of created a bond

After her speech osas gave her heartfelt appreciation to each and everyone gathered here in one way or the other they have supported her dreams and steered this into reality

She was wearing a nice curly wig and her white dress complimented her skin tone so well, she looked so classy so even she could stand before this people to talk it with so much confidence

Of all the people she invited only one person didn't show up, at first she was bummed about it. He agreed he was going to come only for him to not show up at all.

After that awkward dinner they had gone back to being strictly casual sometimes when he shows up to pick Ivie she doesn't even come out of her room to say hello coz she just concluded what's the point of being nice if he is going to treat you indifferently

So when she extended an invitation to him it was only as an act of courtesy because he also financially supported the business in a huge way so she just felt he needed to see what she had done with the funds he sent to her

But he was a no show and several times Ivie had asked to call him and find out where he was and osas had declined

So after her speech, Momo had surprised her with a cake so they gathered round to cut the cake and take several pictures then the dj took over

At first everyone focused on finishing their food and then Ifeyinwa got on the dance floor with Ivie then the staff joined in and it was all fun and vibes

The guest started leaving one after the other osas walked them to their car or ride expressing her deepest gratitude

Pastor Dan and his wife were the first to leave and then Mrs Erabor who was accompanied by Ivie, the rest of the party merry till their knees were weak from dancing some of their neighbors joined in the celebration and then eventually her friends had to leave, Her staff wanted to finish cleaning up tomorrow coz they were already tired and osas knew how much work they put into decoration so she let them
