The days that followed the arrest was complete radio silence for osas, it was like the whole world stopped at a spot and no one was in her corner

After Mrs Erabor's outburst at the police station she just kept her distance and by weekend she dropped Ivie off coz school was resuming on Monday. Then she announced that she was traveling to meet her husband has he has just been transferred to another country

And she wants to join him in Norway so he can properly settle and adjust to the new environment.

Osas didn't think that she would end up staying there for over six weeks, she wished she would come back sooner as they never actually got a chance to talk about the Wendy situation

And whenever they talk on phone the flow is not as smooth as it use to be and most times they have to talk with Mr Erabor in the background. And he is always so formal and straightforward so it was hard to talk about something so disgraceful

Osas really missed her and Wish they had resolve the whole issue before she left and she was gone for so long but she's with her own husband so it doesn't even make sense for osas to suggest that she come back home.

Osas on the other hand is the one who doesn't have her own person and it would be selfish of her to ask Helen to come back and take care of her, look out for her and for them to go back to the way it was

She just wants to revive their mother daughter bond.

Meanwhile Raphael wasn't helping matters either, he is a different story entirely since the whole incident he has completely ignored osas existence, he acts like she's just some random stranger

Whenever he shows up to pick Ivie every weekend he just says five words right get when they meet eye you eye he will be like
"Hey! How're you........Take care' and that's it most times he doesn't even wait to hear her response before he storms off

Atimes he wont even come out of the car he just honk his car when he is outside and Ivie will catch her ride. He is making it very obvious that he doesn't want to associate himself with osas

But everytime he drops Ivie off he is always buying groceries and stuff for the house. Then he is never late on sending their monthly allowance but he has made sure to steer clear of any conversation or even talk to osas like a normal person

Instead of asking her what she needs he would rather ask Ivie to write a list of what they need and when he can't figure out what they need or where to get it he will just credit osas account with the narrative miscellaneous

The pattern went on and osas was really trying to keep her cool, respect his decision and awkward approach towards everything but she was beginning to get irritated and frustrated at how long he was willing to go acting like a maniac she has been isolated before but this is a whole new level.

One time she tried to talk about it but he wasn't having it he just brushed her off

"Just text me osas whatever you need"

"I dont need anything I want to talk to you "

"Why?!"

"What do you mean why"

"Is this about the pregnancy are the babies okay..."

"Yes the pregnancy is fine is just."

"Osas am busy pls just send a text whatever it is"
And then he walked away like if he stayed an extra minute it could complicate things for him

Why can't they just have a normal conversation like sensible mature adults. She just wanted to apologize openly to him and maybe start afresh and remove this awkwardness between them.
