Osas didn't leave the hotel after Ivie arrived safe and sound. Apparently only one hotel room was assigned to each school and the two students are supposed to stay there with their teachers.

That didn't feel right not just because they all have to squeeze themselves on one tiny bed in a competition that is supposedly tagged National level but also because Ivie is the only girl in their midst

It would be very uncomfortable for her to go about with her teacher and her male friend in the room
Maybe she hasn't really started growing all the female features yet but it is still wrong

Osas demanded to see the organizers of the competition at that very late hour and table out her concerns after creating one heck of a scene. The committee arranged a separate room for Ivie because of all the stress they went through getting to Lagos and the fact that osas was about to tear the building down with all her screaming

So in the new room osas and Ivie stayed together. Ivie was so stressed she couldn't sleep and her school is in batch A so they are the first set for the competition

Osas didn't want to go back to the committee and be problematic again so she sent uncle mark instead to explain why  their school should not compete with the first batch as they are not fully rested from the hippie journey

She literally had to drag uncle mark out of bed coz he was exhausted too and was trying to catch some sleep

One of board members said in Yoruba language to her colleague that overbearing people like this don't get too far in any competition. They end up losing in first round and all this fuss would be for nothing

Osas overheard even though she couldn't really speak Yoruba but she can hear bits by bits and was able to make out what the lady was saying.

It was a conventional language in the market where they buy foodstuffs for the restaurant so over the years she had learned to pick up easy parts of it and sometimes it similar to their own language

There was no point trying to defend that statement since they agreed to move them to batch B which would be on Tuesday so they have time to rest for tomorrow

Osas went to the room and sang her off key lullaby for Ivie until she finally fell asleep.
Sometimes the big girl can be such a baby sometimes and Osas would give the world just to make sure this baby gets everything she needs.

By morning osas had to go back to Mrs Erabor's house she needed a change of clothes and she's also going to work so assured Ivie she would be back by evening and she should just focus on the competition, learn from batch A and work on getting better

When Osas arrived at the house she asked Marie where Mrs Helen was and she told her she was still upstairs in her room
Excited to tell her all about Ivie osas rushed upstairs to her room

She was on a phone call and she sound really upset when osas got there The door was left ajar so osas could hear the conversation from outside

"So you did not bother to show up at that hotel Raphael after I told you everything that happened, what exactly is your problem. So You would rather prioritize stupid things "

"Don't talk back at me young man am not done talking "

"I honestly don't care for your silly excuses the right thing to do was at least visit the hotel and stay with osas while she was waiting for Ivie to show up. Do you have any idea how scared she was...."

"Have you even bothered to call her and find out how she and Ivie are doing at the moment"

"Of course not I have to dictate everything to you. You are completely clueless and insensitive.... I don't think you know the severity of your non chalant behavior and when it all goes down don't say I didn't warn you about it "
