Osas and her mom had an heart to heart conversation on how to deal with the situation. By now her mom has already realized that the solution is not always the high road

If she had not taken her stand to carry her pregnancy she wouldn't have osas here with her so she decided to let osas make decisions about her pregnancy

Wema didn't pressure osas about the baby's father for someone who has been dumped and abandoned with twins by a man and has also watched her sisters suffer their fair share of heartbreak and betrayal from men. She didn't expect her daughter's case to be any different

Osas didn't want to take out the baby coz she felt she would be losing a huge part of herself in the process. Murdering an innocent child for her own mistakes would never make her feel better

She is sure this happened for a reason and she's ready to see it through to know what the future holds for her and the child she conceived out of love

"So what about school have you thought about how this is going to affect you"
She shook her head

"You can't go to school pregnant, you can't cope with the stress"

"I've even been sleeping in class and there's this time I nearly fainted in the restroom "

"You see what am saying and very soon you'll soon start showing. Your tummy will be big and your face will be puffy and then your feet will get swollen and you won't be able to carry yourself as fast as you use to. Everything will change Efosa I know this because it wasn't that long since I had you"

"So mommy what do you think I should do "
Wema stare at her daughter and nod her head

"I don't even know..... This is going to be tough on us coz we can barely even feed ourselves at this point. Having a baby is a huge responsibility that we cannot afford"

Osas nodded of course she didn't put all of this into consideration
Her mother had single handedly raised her all these years it would be unfair to add this burden to her

"I will drop out of school I can't go anyways. I will have to find work and assist you "

Wema one good look at her daughter and smiled

"You wey no fit wash ordinary clothes you go dey complain say back dey pain you"

"Mommy I go do am. I go work hard so you don't have to do all this on your own"

"You wan work because of your baby "

"I need to support you mommy. If you let me keep this baby I have to do everything I can to help"

Wema nodded at least her daughter is owning up to the responsibility

"But you can't have this baby in this house. This is my father's house it is already a shame that I stay here with my daughter, if you are going to have a child it shouldn't be in this house as well"

Osas was confused, she was worried her mom was going to send her out of the house. Her heart was pounding heavily

"We'll have to leave this place and go find a house elsewhere " she was relieved hearing that her mother is not throwing her out on her own

"So where would we go?"

"I don't know but I want a place where my sisters cannot keep track of our lives. I want this pregnancy to be just between the two of us, or have you told anyone "

Osas nodded

"But shey it will not be obvious when I start to show"

"We'll cross that bridge when we get there. By tomorrow I'll start looking into apartments out of town. Just start getting ready to park your things"
