In the depths of darkness, where shadows roam
There lies a creature, not quite human, not quite known
With glowing eyes of red, and teeth sharp as knives
This is the hellhound, born of human lives
Born from the depths of human despair
A beast of chaos, with fiery hair
It prowls the earth, with a hunger for pain
Leaving destruction, in its fiery reign
With every step, the ground trembles in fear
For the human hellhound, is always near
It feeds on the negative, the evil and vile
In its presence, all goodness will defile
No one knows where it came from, or why
But its presence brings terror, and a haunting cry
For it is a reminder, of the darkness within
A reflection of humanity's original sin
With every howl, the sky turns red
As the human hellhound, roams with dread
It's a creature of nightmares, a living hell
But in its eyes, a human soul can still dwell
For deep down, beneath its beastly guise
Lies a human heart, with pain and cries
For the human hellhound, is a tortured soul
Trapped in a body, that it can't control
So when you see it, do not turn away
For the human hellhound, just wants to stray
From its cursed existence, and find some peace
But alas, its fate, will never cease
So let us not judge, this creature of fear
For it is a reminder, that we all have a dark side here
And if we embrace it, and learn to forgive
The human hellhound, may finally live.
