Poem #6

My demons,
calm as they may be
they wait patiently
for a reason to awake.

Carved away with taloned hands
broke smooth like clay
they break free from their molds
my demons lead me astray.

My mind is bloody
my body is weak
the beasts tear at my soul
it is destruction that they seek.
