Blue P.o.V
"Everyone, be on guard."
I yelled. This wasn't normal and the gunshot that accompanied it was very much out of the ordinary. I was waiting for the worst as the silence became unbearable and Dream cautiously slid out the carcass of the driver.
"They're on top of us. Everyone! Take cover immediately!"
I led many people to closets or tables as I hid under a chair. As someone wandered off, trying to be heroic, I whispered loudly.
"Get back to shelter!"
"There's nothing!"
"Didn't you hear Dream, they're on top of us!"
I reloaded my gun as the other collapsed, shot to the head. Bullets began flying inside as people running around fell like flies. The Peacekeepers swarmed the place as the visitors piled up with me, ready to fight by my side.
"Error, you get first blood, I'll help you with the others."
The Glitchy one tried to cut through their armor but it didn't work. Ink slit his wrist, making darts out of the blood and throwing as well but to no avail.
"H-How..."
He barely muttered as they were on us, tearing us apart and cuffing us. Because Ink and Error had shown signs of magic, their eyes, hands and feet were cuffed heavily with metal rings. Pastel ran off but many others caught him. Me, Dream and Stave were kept to the side, lightly cuffed.
We were then all shoved in a truck together. "You talk, you get shot... get it?"
One said as we had no idea where we could possibly be heading. After about thirty minutes to an hour, a guard inspected us, changing us into white shirts and pants. To the sight of the numbers on my ankles, they freaked out and ran off to tell the others something.
Everyone began whispering as we were left unsupervised. "What the fuck are they going to do to us?"
Windows Vista murmured in the darkness of the backside of the vehicle. "I-I think we're going to the lab."
Ink sobbed as Pastel laid his head on his shoulder. "Is that you... Pastel?"
"It's going to be okay! We'll find a way out of this!"
They cuddled... in a way? Dream and I smiled at each other, knowing that the laboratory would have no interest in us and that we'd get executed. Stave stared at the floor, having a blank look of disappointment and disbelief. The other monsters were taken in a different direction on a different grey box.
"Right everyone?"
Everyone had a sad expression on their faces. "...right?"
Pastel cried at his turn along with everyone else gradually joining. It seemed like Error had fallen asleep somehow, it's really uncomfortable to be seated in such a manner. As the officer joined back, he came out with collars and from the look of them, they were electric shockers. There were only four of them so two of us were most probably going to get killed.
I couldn't hold in my tears and cried uglily. When he attached the first one onto Pastel, he seemed shocked. His facial expression showed a mix of joy and terror. Of course the other two went to the magical monsters in the room. The last one went to me and I realized that I was going to suffer a fate worse than death. Yet, the thought of going in the lab brings me closer to the mission I need to solve.
Then it was Dream who seemed apaled. She hugged me and whispered. "We're going to be separated... Do you think you'll be okay?"
"N-No... we'll probably never see each other again."
"I promise that I'll come back for you."
She stared at me with a confident look in her warming yellow eyes. "P-Promise?"
"Yes."
The van stopped in front of another. There, we were separated as I tried waving to Dream but was handled with force.
"Where are we going?"
I asked rudely. Showing no remorse nor fear but I received no answer. Ink heard me and weakly weeped.
"Isn't it obvious? We're all going to die!"
"No! Don't say that Ink!"
Pastel snapped. Error was still tired and ended up falling asleep again along with Ink, who needed some energy after using magic. I've seen demonstrations of his magic and they were followed with naps. I suppose using superhuman abilities is costly in terms of regeneration.
I looked for where the cut was and noticed it was gone. Afterwards, me and Pastel nervously stared out the narrow windows as we recognized the forest entrance, leading to District 7. We knew we'd get onto a train which happened to be true.
A few hours later, we woke up to the sound of a beating stick on the ground. Someone's cane was in front of us as he inspected us like animals in a zoo. Noting observations and constantly saying 'Interesting'.
"Who are you?!"
"Ohh, this one's aggressive, how cute!"
I gave him a death glare as he backed away.
"You can ask your little friend who seems to recognize my lively voice."
Ink shook and I guessed this was the crazy man known as Flenius. "Flenius?"
"Yes! That's me!"
I heard whimpering coming from the smaller one as the man placed his cane on his neck, pressing it down.
"Don't worry Ink, I'll make sure you don't escape. I have plans for you and your friends."
At least I wasn't the center of attention... "Where are we going?"
"My lab of course."
Darts were shot into our chests as everything went black.
