Stave P.o.V
"Everyone! We have to go now!"
I had received an emergency communication from the Capitol saying they've located our base and to stay safe, we needed to leave within the next forty eight hours. The first few minutes were packed with chaos, many people making sure we had enough trains, weapons and food. Worst thing here ; the siren started ringing and when that happens, it's never good. "Calm."
Dream shouted across the room as everyone stopped what they were doing and gathered around her.
"We're seventy people with five trains, we'll be okay."
"What about the food ma'dam?"
"We have enough and anyways, it's not hard to pack. I want to see twenty people packing luggages and resources. Blue and I will inspect your work after that."
Another person in the crowd asked something.
"What about all of us?"
"Ten others on weapons, ten on communications, ten on cleaning, Stave on data." "There's still more people left."
"Gather covers, trash the place."
"What about the cleaning?"
"That's in the train."
"Hm."
"Oh yeah, five on driving the machinery. Medics gather hospital equipment."
She paused before adding.
"And our invitees have other things to do."
Everyone in the room glared at Ink, Error and Pastel. I made my way to the boss and queeried her as well.
"Umm, what do I do with the data?"
"Export it safely then destroy the computers, burn the drives and other storage devices only when you're sure you've downloaded everything."
"Alright."
I nodded my head and walked off to work. My station was beside the dorms so many people stayed there, going in and out of the rooms at a frequent pace. I began downloading the data on a hard drive disk as I heard the halls empty out slowly with the time flowing by. Dream wanted us out as quickly as possible so they wouldn't sneak attack us during the night.

"So, what are we doing now?"
I asked, kicking the ground.
"I've heard you three have really been getting along lately. Why don't you discuss some further plans? We won't be nursing you forever."
"Where would we go then?"
My boyfriend held my arm as he questioned quietly, not wanting to attract attention.
"You can either stay in the safehaven or go back to the Capitol and construct a seperate life there."
"They might be looking for us... we don't want to be hunted either."
"That's why... go discuss your options in the room."
Error and Pastel both held my hands while we strolled across the hallway. It felt good to be okay with everyone again. During my months of recovery, we did fight but we all resolved the issue by magic practises. Glitchy taught me how to harness my art while teaching my lover martial arts. What's funny is that we couldn't give anything back so I guess those 'give all your covers' things were the equivalent?
My partner came up with snuggling sessions but Windows Vista wasn't too crazy about those. He said he wanted to avoid us suspected of being in a polyamory. At first, I laughed it off and said that we wouldn't try any of that. It was suspicious that he even brought up the
topic... oh please, I already have a boyfriend, I don't wanna have two. Besides, I'm super happy with Pastel, he's my world.
When we finally got to the practise room, we sat down at a table and let it go.
"Well, I don't know where we should go..."
"The Safehaven is really the best option for us. We get free meals, protection... anything we want!"
Pastel said. This will be the first time I disagree.
"We need some crew to lend a hand to the rebels in the Capitol. Apparently, they're housing families in exchange for help."
"Hm, Ink does make a point. We can keep a low profile, get an isolated house and obtain free information on the metropolitain zone itself."
I was glad Error backed me up on this.
"Yeah! But... we're safer in the headquarters."
"No. Imagine what happens if the Capitol figures that out? We're not going to have enough trains to evacuate and it'll be a disaster."
"Basically a short reward system in exchange for death."
Pastel pondered on what we just said.
"Isn't that place camouflaged under radars?" "Same for this base."
We heard crashing noises and got up to investigate. While running off, another monster came out with a hard drive.
"Hi! I'm the data person, Stave."
Pastel seemed relieved to see that this person was okay but double checked. "Oh... sorry we heard some noise, everything okay?"
"I had to crush my computers."
They pouted while getting onto their knees like it was the end of the world. Shortly after, they got up as a message was displayed over the speakers.
"Everyone, to the trains, emergency exit is a go."
That's when we made our ways to the main place, deciding that we'll go to the Capitol. "We've decided."
"Good, Safehaven or Capitol?"
"Capitol."
I nodded as she let us go onto another train, leading to the Safehaven's quick stopping route. We got comfortable in a private room, playing some board games and talking about childhood memories. Blue and Dream also boarded the same vehicle and stayed with us as well.
Everything went fine... until we heard a gunshot and the train slowly slowed down. "Oh no."
Pastel cried.
