I hugged Cross, Blue, Lust and Dream while my small luggage contained the pendant he gave me. I left the scarf back, as it was something to cherish in the hands of Blue who wore it proudly. I know something's up and I smiled sadly at the thought of it. All was silent as Cressida walked in before saying.

"Five minutes, Ink."

Cross and Blue began weeping loudly as they held onto each other. I told them not to cry as I comforted them by cupping their heads with my hands. My limb that reached out for them caressed their cheeks as they both pulled me into a hug.

"I'll be fine guys, no need to cry..."

"We don't know what's up with her and the fact that you need to sacrifice yourself is un-" "Shush."

It was a way to keep them from talking as I sang that delicate song... well hummed it out. A small, quick tear rolled down my own cheek as I recalled the time Reaper completed the melody. It was such a while ago.

"If I do not come back, cherish those who died at the games. That is my final wish."

I whispered in their non-existent ears.

"It was fun to have a soul for the time being."

The woman then called me rudely. "Now I must go."

As I was about to enter the train, Cross grabbed my hand and kissed me again. I smiled, having nothing other to say except.

"Take care of yourself... and Pastel."

The fact that he just technically made me unfaithful was a little upsetting but I knew where he was coming from. I held his hand for a second before he lent me my baggage. The door closed behind me as the madam in the back seat told me to sit down. I must act like I don't know what's going on, like my usual self.

"I can't wait to get to two so I can find my boyfriend, Pastel!"

I smirked, staring her dead in the eyes. "Yes, you'll see him for sure."

"I will."

I got up, unable to bear a conversation with her. I laid down in my bed contemplating the scenarios... and the thin possibilities that I'll ever see Pastel again... my beloved boyfriend.

I then cried, punching the metal until my knuckle bled. I didn't feel so well.

Pastel P.o.V

Following our last experimentation, this one consists of creating life off DNA samples of 12044 and 07164... my friends. I wasn't allowed to call them Error or Ink in this forsaken place. After Error's unfortunate passing, life had just gotten worse and not getting any information about Ink's state was scary. I guess the only info we have is his soul beat which I'd check a few times a day, staring and making sure it's normal. From where Glitchy is, he seems to have... moved? Only a meter or two, it's hard to tell on the map. Oh the suffering he must've gone through when he hit the ground and limped to his demise.

This new life is perhaps a reminder that with enough DNA samples, I can see my own lover again in another form.

"Pastel! Flenius would like to see you."

This time, I glared outside this new laboratorys stunning view. "Alright."

I made my way within the hallway, staring at my unharmed ankle. It would've most probably been written something like 07123. Seven for the district name and December third for my own birthday which hadn't passed yet. I did take a day off for Ink and Error to sob in my room all day long.
