Blue P.o.V

This situation was similar to mine, as a kid, I can remember a distinct memory where all faces are blurred and I'm running from something. From the way I looked at myself, I seemed young... I just need answers.

Following this limping stranger that led us to a small campsite that seemed abandoned. We searched the truck and the shack but no one was there, neither were the provisions this person told us about. The other probably took everything and ran off.

Dream checked the pocket watch and simply murmured the words. "North."

We began following her now after double checking everything to make sure there was no one or no mythical dog looking creatures. We have no idea where they actually came from but the lab was a probable example.

On the way, we spoke about regular things. "What's your name?"

I asked this unknown monster.

"Pastel, you? Oh wait, I already asked that."

We both chuckled as I posed the next question.

"What pronouns do you use?"

"He/him. Thanks for asking and not assuming. What about you?" "Me and Dream both use she/her pronouns."

The forest began getting tense as we saw blood trails and strings hanging from trees. The vegetation was dense and thick but we could see the paw prints of more than one beast.

From a distance, we heard an alarming scream as we rushed towards it.

Ink P.o.V

I woke up in the arms of Error, running. He was definitely running away from something dangerous looking at the blood spilling from his face and the various bruises. I didn't want to open my eyes or that would deconcentrate him so I left them closed, being relaxed.

I felt exhausted despite most probably the few dozens of hours I spent sleeping. I wonder if they thought I was dead since I don't have a soul pulse.

Suddenly, he slowed down, hearing growling around us. He put me down as I got up, making him jump backwards.

"What the fuck! How are you alive?!"

"Huh, Error."

I couldn't express myself clearly and everything was kinda dizzy. "You don't have a soul?!"

He almost shouted at me, somehow keeping calm. "Yeah, I'll explain that later. W-Where's Pastel?"

I looked around, searching for my lover as he was nowhere in sight. "What did you do to him?!"

I sprung up, angry. He seemed frightened but then laughed it off.

"You know what I did to those Peacekeepers! I can bash your face in using that blood on your clothes or your own figure!"

He sighed and told me.

"Well, we had a little fight and it's not like you know how to use your abilities." "Did you kill him?!"

I then felt little strings tightening my waist and legs together as I fell down.

"If you don't shut up, I'll feed you to the dogs that are impatiently waiting to devour and tear us to shreds."

The beasts emerged from the woods into the clear zone that we were staying within. Their black coat, slobbering, hungry mouths and red, flaming eyes terrified me as I tried finding a way out of the trap Windows Vista got me stuck in.

With his strings, my friend sliced a few cuts, dealing some damage to it. He was able to finish one off but not all three. They pounced on him, smashing his head into the dirt as I freed myself from the clutches of the webs. If I didn't act, they would suffocate him. I spotted an axe near me and used that to slice off the paw of the attacker who didn't respond very well to it. I grabbed Error, who started coughing and threw him away, leaving me with the two others.

At his impact with the tree, I heard a cracking sound but didn't think too much of it. I had my own survival to fend for.

I bolted sideways, escaping them and quickly retreating to a tree. As I climbed, I felt a tickling sensation on my foot as I was yanked downwards.

Blood leaked all over my body as the necks of the animals were slit, then falling to the ground afterwards.

"What the hell were you thinking?!"

I knew it was him who threw me at the foot of the monsters. "Oh nothing. Maybe you broke one of my ribs?!"

"I could've died!"

I turned around to recollect my axe as I heard a sudden move from the bushes. I don't know how I was able to capture it... it was just an instinct.

A blood curdling scream was heard until I noticed Error got something in his eye and tried removing it quickly, resulting in blood being splattered all over his clothing. I ran over to him and fell to his knees.

"Are you okay?!"

"What does it look like?! Something's attacking us from the bushes."

He continued screaming in pain as more blood leaked into his palms and him repeating things like 'it hurts' or 'help me!'. I got up and advanced towards the bushes, confused. Then I glared back at my friend and saw that he removed a knife from his eye. The blade was soaked in blood to his right, shining in the midday.

"Is there anyone here?"

I dodged another knife, cautious that my ally was suffering beside me. If something goes in his direction, I'll block it, despite not having much force left. I wonder how I didn't die up to this point.

I advanced and got another projectile right in the arm. At this point, I was curious so I briskly opened up the leaves to reveal something I didn't want to see.

Error and I both screamed at the discovery of some amalgamate hiding within the bushes. It was tall and slim with a creepily grinning face, molded and leaking. The bones of this creature were deformed, some places exuding all over the floor. The eyes reminded me of myself, a star and an oval with that same stain to the side of my face.

Yet, the thing I saw in front of me... was it myself? The build was the same, around the same height, characteristics, stains and spots...

I panted uncontrollably, panicking and falling to the ground backwards. Grasping whatever was near me. I couldn't feel anything anymore as I heard a gunshot sound within the distance and the darkness consuming my vision.
