Ink P.o.V
The ceremony is over for now. We returned to our dorms, exhausted, I was so nervous the entire time.
"Where are the showers?"
Itsaso sighed.
"You should be used to this place. On the left of your room, the door." "Thank you."
I smiled but deep inside, I hated her with every last breath I supposedly had. Taking small steps, I returned to my bedchamber being reminded that training starts tomorrow. A woman changed my bed as I walked over to the bathroom, removing the sheets carefully. I was going to say I haven't done anything to it but I guess it's the rules.
I opened the sliding door to the room, the layout was much different than what I expected. On the side was a sink and toilet with a cabinet containing soap, towels and an extra box of tools to help me be comfortable. I slipped off the dress and noticed a small scratch on my lower leg. Must've been when I ran into the seat of the vehicle we used. I took out a towel and a bar of dry soap. There were already rugs to use to clean myself so I started the bath and accidentally dropped that body cleanser into the water. It started to dissolve and I tried
to catch it but then I realized that it was probably one of those fancy shampoos. Wasn't important but I hopped in anyways.
Reaper P.o.V
I got changed into my white pjs then went into my bed. I couldn't stop thinking of the games, the training, the interview. I was actually pretty shy despite my more masculine look, people tend to overestimate me which wasn't good. In my mind, coming up with a solution to win solo was simple but now that I've been showing pity to that stupid guy, I can't help but include him.
'C'mon Reaper, you can't give in, you're better off without him.'
One side of me said, I thought about the benefits of having Ink around immediately. He could be an extra defense, a food collector or possibly source if I had the chance and there was nothing, that's pretty much it. I don't know his strengths or weaknesses but a little game of questions can solve that. He's not shy around me which means I've captured his trust.
On the other hand, he would cost me more hunting, possibly exposure, food, shelter and water but I think I'd be willing to assume that for the time being.
"Reaper?"
Ink slowly came into my room, looking on both sides to make sure I was there. He was wearing the same thing as I.
"Yeah, what's the matter?"
"Can we talk? I'd like to strategize."
Perfect opportunity to ask those questions I've been pondering on. He skipped then jumped onto the bed.
"Want some covers?"
"Mhm, please."
I wrapped him up like a little roll. He smiled and cuddled onto me once more then we began discussing.
"Alright, what did you want to talk to me about?"
"What we were going to do for tomorrow."
"I don't even know what'll be there." "Well I do. Gerold told me earlier." "Then what?"
He paused and pondered on it.
"Well, there's the basic survival courses, like knowing how to make a shelter and the basic plants. Next is projectile throwing courses like spears, knives and arrows. Then it is close combat and how to defend yourself and finally, running and dodging."
