It had taken Godspeed weeks of searching, but at long last, he'd finally found what he was looking for. The lair of the Reverse Flash in Central City. It had taken him awhile, now he cautiously phased in his way into building, keeping on high alert, since while he doubted he would've triggered any of Thawne's security alerts, since while he did have speed, since it was artificial and not connected to the speed force itself, hopefully he could've bypassed them.

However, that didn't mean he had to move quickly to avoid getting his head chopped off by a very big ax.

"Who are you and how did you find this place and bypass our alarms?" the ax's user said and Hart turned to see a military man standing there, holding the ax like it was some kind of children's toy.

"Calm down Brimstone. This man is not our enemy. At least not yet. What brings the false speed god here?" Eobard Thawne asked as he walked up to them and Brimstone reluctantly steadied his ax.

"I came here for your help. No one knows the secrets of the speed force better than you and I need that expertise right now." Hart said.

"Let me guess, your poorly made choice to ally yourself with the likes of Joseph Carver came back to haunt you in a way that means that you came here because the same drug that gave you your fake speed is now killing you." Thawne said, not being able to resist showing off how smart he was to someone new.

"Yes and I teamed up with Carver because I had no choice. I needed resources to wage war on Impulse. But now that he's gone, I have my chance, but not as long as I have my condition to worry about." Hart reluctantly admitted.

"And you came to me because you know I'm the only one who knows enough about the speed force to save you without needing a speed transfusion, since no other speedster would sacrifice their speed to save you." Thawne said.

"Yes, if anyone can think of another way to save me, it's you." Hart admitted.

"I say we just end him now and put him out of his misery." Brimstone said.

"I have to admit, my associate here does make a good point. Why should I help someone who will try to take what is mine?" Thawne asked.

"The Flash is all yours. I just want Impulse's head on a stick." Hart said.

"And luckily for you, I can respect that, since if you keep Impulse busy, then he can't aid the Flash in his battle against me. Though you'll have to excuse my ignorant associate here. He has certain issues about people whose skin isn't the same shade as his own, but he is working on that, since it's already gotten him in trouble." Thawne said.

"I can end his life just as easily as you can, even in my current condition." Hart said.

"And I do plan on helping you, since you seem like a perfect candidate for an experiment I've been wanting to try." Thawne said.

"What kind of experiment?" Hart asked.

"The speed force will never willingly connect itself to you, but fortunately, it's just one side of that equation. While the heroes draw their speed from the positive side of the speed force, we villains can do it by connecting to the other side of that coin. The negative side. It's time for more evil speedsters to help tip the scales in our favor. I should be able to connect you to the negative speed force like I am, which will make you more powerful than you ever thought possible. But I can't force it, it has to be something you willingly want and something that the negative speed force wants to provide, though with your hatred, I think it will." Thawne said.

"I'm tired of being forced to let other people pull my strings so I can have speed. That power will make me stronger than ever. Strong enough to kill Impulse, his team and anyone else who tries to stop me. And I won't interfere in your plans as long as you don't interfere in mine." Hart said.

"Agreed, now let's get started." Thawne said with a grin, since they had a lot of work to do and not much time to do it.
