Now that her father was in prison and seemed like things were cooling down for the moment, since his organization had gone silent after he'd been taken down, Jesse was turning her attention to something even more important. Finding a way to save her mother. And she believed that a crucial part of that was to track down her elusive uncle, Evan McCulloch, since it sounded like he was the one who'd sent her mother to the mirrorverse, so he was likely the only person who could get her out.

Though that wouldn't stop her from looking for a technological way to do it. She just wished she knew where to start. She wished that she had more expertise in parallel dimensions, but that had never been her specialty, though she and Kira had come up with a theory with Wally's connection to the speed force could allow him access to other dimensions, they'd never tried it before and they had no way of anticipating where Wally might come out. But Jesse wasn't going to give up. She would figure out how to get her mom back.

It would be helpful if her mom could appear again, but she hadn't done it since that first time months ago. She didn't even know where to start. Or at least she didn't until Kira entered her lab.

"Kira, what's going on?" Jesse asked.

"I think I finally found a starting point in your quest to save your mom." Kira said.

"I'm listening." Jesse said.

"We start in the place where she vanished." Kira said.

"Her old lab." Jesse said.

"Yeah. I think that your mom was doing research into the existence of this mirrorverse before she vanished, but there's no record of it in any of the McCulloch Technologies files." Kira said.

"Of course not. Mom would never store her top secret research on something like that on the company servers. She'd keep it on her own private server that can only be accessed from the computers in her lab. A lab that Carver erased all records of after he took over." Jesse said, since she'd stopped referring to Carver as her father after she'd found out he wasn't actually her father. Another mystery she'd answer once she saved her mom.

"And I was hoping you'd know where that is, since your mom loved keeping secrets of her own. Including the location of her highly secured and top secret lab." Kira said.

"Mom was always paranoid about people stealing her work. It wouldn't surprise me if mom had a secret lab, since my lab was her's before my dad took it over and there's no record of any experiments or research in that in any of the servers in here, which means that my mom worked on this offsite which means it was secret and she was being very paranoid about it. Which just leads to more questions about what the hell she was working that required so much secrecy." Jesse said in frustration.

"Jesse, are you okay?" Kira asked.

"No Kira, I'm pretty damn far from okay. My family is full of secrets, I found out that the man I thought was my father isn't really my father and he was running a criminal organization around the world renting metahuman assassins and weapons to the highest bidder and that my mother was apparently involved in some kind of secret research involving another dimension while she also lied to me about who my father is, has only shown up once to tell me she was still alive and I haven't heard from her since. I just need to know the truth about my family and what they were doing. I knew that I'd be living a life of secrets when Wally got his powers, but I didn't think that I'd find even more secrets in my own family." Jesse said.

"We'll find answers Jesse, I promise. And at least your secrets don't involve being half robot." Kira reminded her, since while she was regenerating, she had to use her hologram in public.

"Whatever happened to that Caulder guy who broke into your apartment?" Jesse asked.

"He's in Argus custody right now and after getting the location of his patients, Wally and Dinah are helping Argus transfer them to a secure facility where they can hopefully find ways to fix whatever the hell Caulder did to them. I don't know what he did and frankly, I don't want to. It's best to let him be forgotten." Kira said and Jesse nodded.

"Agreed. But let's get back to the topic at hand. My mom. We find the lab she was performing her mirrorverse experiments in, we might be able to find a way to bring her home." Jesse said.

"So no matter how frustrated you are with her." Kira said.

"I'm never going to give up on her. She's always been the only person I've truly had in my corner my whole life. I'll never abandon her, no matter how angry or frustrated I am with her." Jesse said and Kira smiled.

"Good, then let's see what we can find." Kira said.

"Access my mom's personal files, not located on any company servers, look for her private personal servers. See if there are any locations in her ownership that aren't registered with this company." Jesse said.

"On it." Kira said as she got to work.
