Ria got used to the life as a kindergartener very quickly. She woke up every morning eager to go to school and to see her teacher and new friends; friends, she had more than one. She was having fun, learning a lot of interesting things and always had tons of stories to share when she was back home. Deepika loved listening to her and so did Ranveer. It amused them to hear about her day and she made them feel like the proudest parents ever.
"I miss my boy." Ria said once in the car on the way back home, giving her mom a hug from where she sat next to her.
"Your boy?" Deepika asked with curiosity.
"Yes! My baby brother in your tummy." Ria said with her characteristic innocence, patting her mommy's tummy.
"Oh!" Deepika chuckled relieved that she wasn't talking about a boy from school at such short age. She should've known she was talking about the baby as she was hugging her and had arm around her belly. "I think he's bored without you because he doesn't move that much when you're in school. There's nobody to talk to him or poke him when you and papa are not around so he falls asleep."
"Aw, I'm here now!" Ria exclaimed loudly near her tummy, making Deepika laugh. "Wake up little baby!" The girl said trying to feel him move. "You can talk to him when he's bored." She told her mom, it's not like the baby was alone when she and her papa were not home, he had mommy and mommy was great company.
"I do and he still falls asleep." Deepika said with a pout. She believed that beyond recognizing their voices, the baby could feel their energy and of course, all the love. He would always kick around when Ranveer touched her tummy, even when he didn't say a word.
"He loves you." She told Ranveer once. She was reading a book in bed and he was laying next to her. He had scooted closer to rub and kiss her round tummy, without saying anything because she was busy with her book. The baby seemed to have noticed it was him as he moved right away, making his papa smile.
"I love him too." He said kissing their baby again.
"He doesn't move if I rub my belly, he actually stops but he loves it when it's you or Ria." She said sounding a little jealous.
"Because you are his mommy, your touch soothes him." He said with a warm smile, which along with the sweet comment made her heart flutter. She brought a hand to his head and caressed his hair and he looked up at her, still smiling. "It's true. Right, champ?" He asked their unborn baby. "I bet you're all comfy there in mummy's tummy but you want to play too, don't you?" The baby kicked in response making both of his parents grin with amusement. "What was that? A foot?" He asked touching where he saw a little bump on her belly.
"I think so." Deepika laughed and placed a hand over his, gently pressing where the baby kicked so he would kick back and he did. Ranveer laughed like a kid himself, poking her tummy so the baby kicked again and their little boy didn't fail to amuse his papa.
"Wait. It doesn't hurt, right?" He asked looking up at her with concern and she shook her head with a smile still on her face. It was the first time he could see him kicking.
"It'll hurt later when he gets bigger and starts kicking my ribs." She said and he winced, remembering the last weeks when she was pregnant with Ria.
"Sorry, babe..." He said kissing her tummy again.
"It's all worth it..." She said and continued running her hand through his hair.

Things were not so peachy a few weeks later though...
"Ugh!" An annoyed Deepika exclaimed, trying to get away from Ranveer's embrace.
"What's wrong?" He asked confused while he watched her walk away from him.
