"We take him home now?" The ever-impatient little girl asked her parents. Everybody seemed too comfortable, nobody looked like they were leaving yet. She wanted to take the baby home already.
"Not yet, sweetie." Deepika said caressing her daughter's cheek. She was a big sister already but there wasn't anything "big" about her. She was still really small herself.
"Mommy and Dhruv have to stay here for a couple of days. He's so little he can't go outside yet." Ranveer explained and he could see the disappointment on his daughter's face.
"Why? I want to take him home..." She whined. She wanted to take her brother home and play with him like she plays with Sami and Sanu. She didn't realize he would be so small, the only baby she was familiar with was Sanu and she could play and walk and was very fun to be around.
Ria sighed. She didn't usually whine. Most of the time things went her way and she was spoiled but she behaved well. She didn't cry or get mad much; she was generally a very happy, sweet and loving little girl.
"RiRi, we almost forgot...!" Dadi intervened in order to distract her grand-daughter and showed her the plastic bag she had been saving for her.
Ria excitedly took the small teddy bear from the bag while her parents watched with amusement. She was still on the bed with Deepika and Ranveer was holding the baby in his arms.
"What is that?" Deepika asked with curiosity.
"Is a teddy bear for my baby brother! Look, Dhruv!" Ria exclaimed shaking the bear in the air as if the baby could understand and turn to look at it. Ranveer walked around the bed to get the baby close to the excited little girl.
"Ria bought it for the baby when you guys went on your babymoon. She wanted a welcome gift for her brother." Dadi explained making Deepika "aww."
"Hi baby! I'm your Teddy bear." Ria said with a funny voice showing the stuffed little bear to her baby brother, pretending "Teddy" was the one talking.
"Look, Champ! Your first toy!" Ranveer said with enthusiasm, taking the bear so the baby could have it. "You lucky boy, your Ria-didi is already spoiling you!"
"I'm Ria didi." Ria proudly nodded.
"Yes you are, my big girl. Teddy is very cute, Dhruv is going to love it." Deepika said and Ri grinned, happy to hear that.
"It's little like him!" Ria said and Deepika put an arm around her adorable daughter.
"Yes, it is..." She said kissing the top of her head.
"Look, he already loves it!" Ranveer exclaimed, showing Ria how he had placed the small stuffed animal in such a way that it seemed like the baby was holding it and Ria was very excited to see that.

"Mommy... You have another baby in your tummy?" The little girl asked a few minutes later as she leaned on her mommy's side.
"Huh?" Deepika was confused for a second.
"Your tummy still big." Ria said gently patting her stomach and Deepika chuckled.
"No, sweetie... It'll go back to the way it was before, but it takes time." She explained.
"Ohhh..." Ri was quiet for a few moments, processing the information. "And it hurts?" The questions continued. She figured mommy's tummy hurt because the baby had come out of it and because she wasn't getting out of bed and looked tired too.
"Just a little bit but I'll be fine. I'm very happy Dhruv is here with us." She said looking at Ranveer sitting on the couch holding the baby in his arms. He was ecstatic too, he didn't want to let go of his son. He looked adorable holding him. When he first held Ria he looked adorable too but had been really nervous. Now he looked like a real expert.
