Chapter 41

"Look, mommy! Dhruv is awake!" An excited Ria exclaimed. She had just woken up a few minutes earlier and was now laying in bed with her mommy and her baby brother. Papa was in the bathroom taking a shower, getting ready to start his day while mommy and babies rested for a few more minutes.

"Good morning, little one!" Deepika whispered as she scooted closer to Dhruv, kissing his forehead. Ria kissed him too and she grabbed one of his hands in hers. The baby smiled like he did when he heard his mommy's voice and held on to one of Ria's fingers with a tight grip. Ria giggled. She loved how he liked to "hold hands" with her. Deepika smiled, enjoying every single minute spent with her sweet children.

Ranveer then walked into the room with a mischievous look on his face. He stood by the bed and Deepika inevitably looked up at him. Her eyes grew big, she resisted the need to react but the surprise was evident on her face. She slowly got up and walked over to him, smiling and patting his cheek, giving him a quick kiss before heading to the bathroom. Ria didn't notice a thing since she was too interested in her baby brother.

"Is Dhruv playing with you, Ri?" Ranveer asked as he heard the baby coo every time Ria talked to him. It was amazing how Ria could attract the small baby's attention and how she got him to interact with her. Dhruv was always interested in what his cute sister was up to whenever she was around. He seemed to love her effusive displays of attention. She was always hugging and kissing him and he never became fuzzy or upset when she did; he loved nothing more than being held and cuddled by his sis, mommy, papa and the grandparents.

Ria turned with a big smile when she heard her father's question and her face suddenly changed when she saw him, much like her mommy's did a few moments earlier. "Papa! Where's your mooch?!" The little girl exclaimed. Ranveer laughed, he had just shaved his mustache and his face looked as smooth as a baby's behind.

"It's gone." He said amused.

"Where it go?!" Ria asked confused even though she had seen her papa clean-shaven before.

"Mommy ate it." He quickly said, without thinking... Ria's confused face looked so cute that he had to hold back the need to laugh to avoid ruining the joke. Deepika mentioned the night before that she missed seeing him without a mustache. Even though she said it casually, he decided to shave it. He was done shooting so he was able to change his look. Plus, he would do anything for his Queen.

Despite her confusion, Ria suddenly started laughing out loud. "Crazy mommy!" She exclaimed as the strange image played in her head. Just then Deepika returned to the room.

"I'm crazy?" She asked and Ria nodded.

"Yes, mommy. You can't eat Papa's mooch! Is not food!" Ria said and Ranveer sat on the bed next to Ria, tickling her and planting a loud smooch on her cheek.

"You crazy baby! You weren't supposed to tell!" He teased as Ria continued laughing.

"Huh? I ate mooch?" Deepika asked picking up Dhruv in her arms. The curious baby tried to look in his papa and didi's direction, as they were creating a commotion. She sat down on the bed so he could see better.

Ria nodded in response to her question and Ranveer tickled her more so she didn't say anything else. Deepika was used to Ria's silly comments and ideas and when teamed together with Ranveer, they were unstoppable. She smiled as she watched them being their adorable selves.
