"LONG LIVE CHRIST THE KING!" He repeatedly yelled, waving his hands up and down. Some people finally stopped and turned to look at him. They heard those words and it gathered their attention which had temporarily nullified their attention to their destination.
"Quit yelling!" One man said, passing by and leaving.
"LONG LIVE CHRIST THE KING!" He yelled again.
"What're you saying? Some cult again?" Another man said, also passing by and leaving.
"Look at this fool, yelling in the street. Y'know this is the perfect place to get jumped."
"LONG LIVE CHRIST THE KING!"
"Someone shut his trap already!" A woman said.
"LONG LIVE CHRIST THE KING!"
"Tell me, what are you doing?" A man finally jumped and grabbed his hands, pulling them down.
Brick stopped, looking the man in his eyes, "I am here to spread the good news."
"What good news? There is nothing good about this world!" The man refuted.
"There is, there is light at the end. I finally get it now. I am finally happy. And everyone here can be too. The way now is through God, believe in him."
"God?" The man looked confused.
"There is a God. He is exists and he loves us."
The man laughed, "Oh you're another one of those bigots who spread some word, aren't you?"
"I know he exists. I know he does!"
"And what proof? What makes you think he truly exists? Give me one solid piece of evidence and I'll believe God exists!"
He paused, he didn't know what to say at the moment. It was then that he felt something give him an idea, an outside force which projected this idea to him. Something mad him speak and he didn't know what it was but he opened his mouth and spoke, "You do not need evidence. You will see one day. And I tell you now, how easy it is for you to do easily that. To give you evidence right here right now is more convenient for you to disprove than for me to prove."
"And why is that? I thought your God was real! And so if he is, why would he allow all of this? And you mean to tell me that you entirely run your whole idea of this God on faith alone? That's ridiculous!"
"I believe it's more ridiculous to not have any faith. You tell me that you're whole life you haven't had faith? If you had no faith in your life you would be the most paranoid man in the world, you would lock yourself up having no faith that the men outside would come out and stone you, or that your neighbor is poisoning your food, your whole life has ran on faith and trust. And now you don't want to believe in faith? And as for the world, evil is something that exists solely because of our free will, a product of our own God! We wouldn't want to be without free will, would we?"
"So you tell me that free will causes evil, meaning that God gave us free will knowing we'd cause evil?"
"Who said God would know we'd do evil? Evil is sin, sin is a stain which shouldn't exist. But God loves us, without darkness all we would know is light and without light all we would know is darkness. There is good and bad going on in the world, and us humans are the ones who did that bad. For him to take away our free will is more evil than not taking away our free will."
The man looked in utter disbelief, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. Quickly Brick composed himself through a mysterious force out of nothing and now he proposed an argument which the man couldn't refute, "Well than, that's well said. I'm Javy, and if you ever come here again you best bet I'm going to be here. I truly wonder if this God of your's is real now." Javy than walked away, blending into the crowd and having Brick stunned at even what he himself said.
