Five Finger Death Punch- Jekyll and Hyde
"That's a very serious accusation, Gaz," Ahsan sits back. "Before I give you the assignment, I have to ask if you're one hundred percent sure that you want to go through with this. Your mother, if she survives this will be stripped of-"
"She's not," I stop him. "Cody will leave her for last, but she's not going to let her live past this. Like I said, she's very protective of us. I wouldn't be here without her approval. She is the oldest and the captain of our TDS unit. I know the consequences that await Celestia. I will provide her with the best representation during her trials,"
"Very well," he bows his head and starts to type away at his computer.
"I really liked the contract Elvia sent over," B.B. says slipping into the seat next to me.
The last time I met with this girl, before the Noah thing, she wasn't as radiant as she is now. The night at Noah's, I was a little preoccupied. A pregnant Reaper is dangerous. Her stone and her mates are in a very protective constant. It happens to any of the Hallows, but Reapers are sacred to them and this one is the most beloved. I'm willing to bet that even the surrounding stones are watching out for her.
"I'm glad. If you choose to sign-"
"I already did. So did Delilah and Lucien," she points back at him. I glance back to see Carson has him in a headlock. Rodrigo has a big grin on his face. She glances at them and lets out a loud whistle. Carson instantly releases him. Lucien shoves him making the other two laugh. "Sorry about that," she rolls her eyes. "Guys,"
"I have two little brothers who I have bailed out of shit since they started walking. I get it," I laugh. "Consider yourself lucky you only have the one sister. Girls, we don't get even. We destroy each other in the worst possible ways."
"Yeah, we do," she sighs. "Del and I rip each other apart constantly. There are three of you?"
"Yeah, Celestia is the oldest. Then Zuri and me," I nod.
"Right in the middle," she laughs. "That has to be rough. Especially because you became the storm,"
"Yeah, Celestia never really let me live it down. I guess she felt I took her thunder as the eldest,"
"Yeah, like it's our fault," she huffs.
"Careful, Princess. It sounds a little like you're resenting being the chosen one," Ahsan smirks.
"A little? A lot," she snarks. We both laugh.
"So this is how it's going to go," Ahsan sits back. "Cody is going to get a promotion," he says and reaches back to take a stack of papers printing. Cody is going to love that. He pats them neatly into a file and places it on the desk between us. He writes Cody's full name and rank in the prettiest script I've ever seen. "She will be taking the lead in administering the Eye of The Storm to help its transition into the Witch's Union for the Fringe,"
"Not a lot of people are going to like that, San," I say worriedly.
"It's transition or disband," he shrugs. "The High Council will send a representative to ensure that everything goes smoothly. In a couple of days, Cody will report to headquarters in New City and it will be made official,"
"Where does that leave me?" I ask looking between his mate and him.
"You are part of TDS-66. However, unlike the rest of your unit, you are still labeled a rogue witch in this coven. Your sentence is up and you're power has been granted back to you, but it's still a rough situation you're in.
"Joanna and I have been talking about it and the only way to revoke the Rogue brand would be to have all the witches involved in your sentencing be put on stand with the High Council. It would set back the investigation now years,"
