Landon Tewers- I Don't Need a Thing

I kissed him.

That was such a fucking weak bitch move. We sit here staring at one another for a while before I get up and remove my utility belt. I laugh setting it down on the coffee table I got for my room. He stays where he is as I get out of my body suit. I slip on a pair of black leggings and a band t-shirt.

"What's this?" he asks. I reach for my bunny slippers.

"Don't-" I try to reach him before he pushes the spray. The spray hits me in the face and forms a cloud around us. I snatch it out of his hand and groan. "This could have been pepper spray, dipshit,"

"What is it?" he laughs. I try to fight the effect but can't.

"Truth serum. Very effective and it lasts up to two hours,"

"You're kidding," he laughs.

"I am not. I can't right now," I take my belt and move it to the closet area.

"Prove it," he challenges me. This is not going to end well.

"How badly do you want to fuck me, Noah?" I ask casually. He smiles, but when the answer pops into his head it falters.

"So fucking bad," he covers his mouth and shakes his head.

"Oh, yeah?"

"Stop," he groans. "Yes, really fucking bad,"

"Believe me now?"

"How badly do you want to fuck me?" he fires back.

"I don't," I answer truthfully. "I'm tired and the last thing I need is to complicate things between us,"

"That hurt a lot more than I thought it would," he admits making me laugh. "You never thought about it?"

"Yeah, when we were in school,"

"But not after?"

"Noah, you slut shamed me every time I tried to talk to you. I was with Ben and he's the only person I wanted to be with. The fact that I still find you the most beautiful boy I've ever met, makes me feel like I'm cheating on him,"

"He cheated on you,"

"Yeah, but I'm not him and neither are you," I can tell it hurts him to hear me say that. "Can you help me change the lightbulbs?"

"Sure," he nods.

"They're in the cabinet by my cauldron. Bottom drawers. We need six,"

He walks off as I go back to my utility belt to get my flashlight. When he comes back, I've already removed the broken bulbs. He hands them to me one at a time.

"How many times did they try to kill me before I left?" I ask.

"Four," he answers and then glares at me. "Don't do this,"

"I didn't. You did. I am just taking advantage of the situation,"

"Gaz-"

"Come on, Noah. I already know. I have more than enough proof to put my mother to death. Tell me everything. Did you know she was going after my aunt Alondra?"

"Yes, the coven wants Celestia to take over Bellrose,"

"For what?"

"To evangelize,"

"That makes sense," I shake the glass shards off my bed.

"How did you know?"

"We walked in on her getting rid of the body. Verona and Beverly are tracking it so we can recover it,"
