Chapter 4: Lumiose

I swayed around with my skates, riding around peacefully while the wind blew through my hair. The morning sun shined under me sweetly. If felt amazing on my skin.

I'm now in Lumiose City, still skating in the skates I was given in my first battle. After that first battle, others had seen it and wanted to battle me. I won every one of them and gained about 1300 pokédollers, but it only caused us to become exhausted... so we rested in that route on top of a tree. The light show with Ledybas was just beautiful... Everything is perfect so far. All I need to do is avoid my father, who is definitely searching for me

"Wow" I stopped skating and looked up at a stranger wearing skating protection like that one girl did in the route the other day "you're really good at skating" I smiled at the girl's green eyes.

"Oh, thank you."

"How long have you been skating?"

"Um," I rubbed the back of my head "just yesterday" she put her hands together amazed.

"Oh, Arceus! And you're that good!?" I blushed, embarrassed

"Um... Would you happen to know where Professor Sycamore's lab is?" She nodded

"Sure, but only if you show me some moves while I take you there" I nodded.

"Okay!" She skated to my side and started leading while I skated casually, just enjoying myself through the area. I did a few spins, lifted my leg behind me, did a 360, and so on. Where were these skates my whole life?

"Here we are" I stopped skating and looked up at a sizeable tall building with a gate and even a long front yard with grass

"Oh, thank you" I bowed to the girl.

"No. thank you!" she giggled "I enjoyed your little show! And apparently, so did others" I looked around and saw some people smiling at me. I blushed and covered my eyes "No need to be shy! Here" she dug in her bag and took out some kind of device "Do you have a PSS? Let's be friends."

"Oh, I'm sorry... I don't have one of those, yet" she nodded, understanding.

"That's fine. I'll see you soon then" she waved and skated off. I smiled and faced the closed gate, pressing on an intercom to perhaps talk to someone

"Do you have an appointment?" Someone asked

"Um..." appointment? "I'm Serena?" Once I said that, the gates opened on their own. I took off my skates so I can walk the path towards the building and climb the stairs. Once stepping inside, there was a girl with purple hair and a boy with blonde hair talking to each other. Both of them wearing white with the girl wearing a red scarf and the boy wearing a blue scarf. I tugged on my pink scarf awkwardly and removed it.

"Hello" the girl smiled at me once she noticed me "You must be Serena Wye!" I rubbed the back of my neck, smiling shyly

"Hi..." do I know these people? How do they know my fake last name?

"I'm glad you made it to Professor Sycamore's lab on your own!" The boy smiled smoothly "Tell me, have you heard of a Pokémon called Flabébé?" I looked at him confused

"Huh? Oh yeah, it's a fairy type that's like" I measured the size of the Pokémon with my fingers "this small. I saw one the other day in route 4" he nodded in approval. He started saying something before the girl interrupted him. What are they talking about?

"I'm Sina." the girl said, finally

"I'm Dexio" the boy bowed "we've been waiting for your arrival. Please follow us to the elevator upstairs to Professor Sycamore's office, where we will drop you off and meet you down here again" I nodded and followed them both to the elevator, where I felt like a princess with an escort... It's rather funny
