"The first king had his struggles such as I told you before. He was born poor but knew he wanted nothing more than to help people" Froslass said, looking around the books surrounding us "When he was chosen by the gods, of course, nobody knew about it. These were the times when there weren't many people around. It was difficult persuading people, and they did many things in order to survive. Which means thieves were common.
"Because of how the first king acted, people thought of him as weak since he was young, but there was always a young girl who'd care more than anyone. She was always somewhere causing trouble, and my master thought she didn't care, but she always ended up coming back to him with food. She was injured every time she comes back to him, and there are times when I thought we were better off without her, and we were, but she kept trying to help him even if he didn't talk to her much. She worked hard to make him happy, and he was happy when she was around. I was never sure why they were a thing, but they were. Rules of royalty didn't start until the gods spoke to him, and he prayed that something would work between him and this woman. Things lead to another, they bonded. They lived passed their first lives and didn't want to die after giving birth to their child. While on their death bed, the king prayed to keep their love everlasting. This transformed their bodies into what you know as Yveltal and Xerneas" I gasped.
"No way!" She nodded
"Because of their differences, their descriptions matched the legendaries perfectly. This woman was known to cause destruction to villages and steal their money, even harm them, and the king was known to heal and give to those who she made suffer. They were odd, but it worked. The woman took the form of Yveltal, and my master took the form of Xerneas. They both sleep here in this very room, asleep until they awaken to live like they never died. Yveltal ruins, and Xerneas heals. With these two together, things become much more peaceful than what was destroyed before."
"This is a side of the story you never told me. I had no idea Yveltal or Xerneas were actually them. No wonder Yveltal said that stuff"
"If things were to be destroyed before she could take the energy around her, she'll never get to see Xerneas. They'll never wake, and their roles will vanish, leaving them to nothing. They forever wanted to stay together, and they have for this long. Now you see why Yveltal did what she wanted in order to stay with Xerneas" I looked down the hole in the middle of the room.
"The two of them slept here... Why do I have a feeling that was why there was a hole in the wall? Xerneas is out there. I've seen it with my own eyes."
"Xerneas left years ago. My ice wasn't thick enough to cover the hole, that's why Team Flare came in so easily" she crossed her arms "Well, that's all I wanted to tell you. I'm sure there's a reason why Xerneas awoke so soon before Yveltal. I'll be expecting it to return. Are you going back out there anytime soon?"
"To find Xerneas?"
"To continue your journey" I walked to the books around us and took a book out to look through.
"I came here because this is my home and I want to be somewhere where I can feel comfortable while I take the time to get over what happened to Lysandre, but I haven't gotten over it yet."
"I understand. It's going to take a lot more than a week to get over a death. I've seen so many through my years of living. Servants and masters all left" she floated off "you'll get used to it, really" she stopped "I hope you won't have to feel that way."
"Being here isn't going to solve anything, but I wanted time to myself. I started this journey wanting to come here. It's all I ever wanted. Mom lived here in this town, and it's why I wanted to be here, but I was told I will always know my way home. I started gathering gym badges so I can rightfully have a gym battle with Viola and show her how far I came. I have one more badge to go" I pouted "and I bet Calem already got it!"
