Lysandre smirked at me as he lowered his clipboard "Welcome" he said ever so calmly like what he's been up to is normal
"It wasn't hard to figure out it was you running this plan. You made it so obvious from the way you talk to people. I can't believe it took me this long to realize it" he nodded.
"I didn't mean to sound odd to anyone, but nobody understands. This world will eventually reach the point of no return..."
"Don't do this! It's stupid! You haven't seen enough to really know how beautiful this world is! People of all shapes and sizes are different. It's the difference in everyone that makes this world unique and worth keeping" he shook his head
"No... saving the lives of these people is impossible. Of course, you wouldn't understand. Only the chosen ones will obtain a ticket to tomorrow" I squeezed my fist tightly. I gave him an order, but of course, anyone who has their emotions fogged in their minds will never listen or reason with me
"So you're saying you're one of the chosen ones?" I softened my expression, knowing this situation was getting serious. I'm not going to reason with him... there's no point "I'll stop you if it's the last thing I do. It's my destiny."
"You actually want to stop me?" He took out his Pokéball "I don't believe such a small girl like you can do anything. You passed those two in the café. I admit there's some potential. To show how serious you are about all this, show me in battle" I didn't show any mercy. In order to save this land, I have to set everything to the side and put all of me into this situation. I was told that there's nothing wrong with asking for help, and I understand that, but because I was quick to think of this place, I didn't bat an eye on anything else but my priority.
Venusaur had succeeded in beating Lysandre's team with the help of mega evolution. He tried his best to stay calm "I can feel the fire of your convictions burning deep within your heart" he closed his eyes, laughing "Your convictions, and those of your Pokémon pleases me! I knew there was something I liked about you. You're here to stop me, but I ask you to wait."
"Excuse me? What do you take me for? Don't you know who I am?" He glanced at me and my hair
"I'm sure I'm fully aware..." he shook his head "Even if I found out who you are and your kind, I have my own ways of dealing with things. Unlike what you can do for others, I tried to save people... and the world... with the profit from this lab, but my efforts had no effect."
"Perhaps you were looking in the wrong places and thought in a wrong pat-"
"You think it's me? The world was just too vast... and full of fools that I couldn't save through my hard work alone..." I crossed my arms "That's why I decided the only way to save the world was to take it all for myself" I pulled back from using my powers against him. This wasn't my plan. It would've been too easy, and it won't solve anything
"You're selfish..."
"I don't expect that I will ever make you understand how I think and feel... try to stop the ultimate weapon if you must, but to do so, you'll have to find a way out your room" before I questioned him, my mouth was gagged by a mysterious clothe that came from behind me and suddenly made me very sleepy... "I don't expect you to find the elevator key anytime soon with one of the Team Flare Scientists having it" I pushed myself to stay awake, slowly seeing the darkness. I didn't have enough energy to defend myself with ice "Saving everything... the world is suffering. There's no way out..." he walked away as darkness filled my sight
When opening my eyes again after what felt like a really good nap I didn't need, I was being stared at by none other than Dexio and Sina in masks. It looks like they're trying to be heroes or something "Who are you?" I asked, trying to act clueless. Dexio kneeled down to offer his hand
