Chapter 29: Powerplant

I won against Scott and entered the Power plant after taking off my sky suit. Scott fainted after seeing me taking it off... Odd. I knew I wouldn't need it, so I stored it safely in my bag pack and had Dedenne the only one on my side as I run through the building.

There were a few people who operated the plant tied up in a room against their will "are you okay?" I asked as I took off their ropes

"Yes... Thank you"

"Hurry! We need to find Clemont!" Dedenne whined. I nodded and looked back at the operators.

"Do you have any idea who did this and where they went? And did you by chance see a guy named Clemont?" The operators looked at each other funny

"Well... It was a girl with red hair and a guy with a bald head. They both are wearing funky outfits and glasses on" I nodded and started walking out "wait! Where are you going?!"

"Stay here. I'll be back" I smiled and ran out. I know I have no right to act like a hero. I should just go and find officer Riley if Lumiose City is right around the corner, but this Dedenne is counting on me, so I can't let it down.

I ran all around the building with many annoying Team Flare grunts trying to stop me, but they were no match for my team. From the corner of my eye, I can see Dedenne admiring me. I smiled and climbed up some stairs.

"He's around here..." Dedenne said. I reached the top of the staircase and saw a red-haired girl in a red outfit with a terrible skirt and a bald guy in a suit standing over someone wearing blue overalls, doing something with a machine and a few wires

"How much longer?" The bald guy asked. The boy using the machine looked up at him.

"It's going to take a little bit longer. What do you expect by taking so much power? Why do you even need this much?!" It's that boy! Clemont!

"It actuary looks done, don't you agree?" the redhead said "we already have enough energy to power the device" Clemont backed away from the machine, trying to stand up, but the bald guy pushed him down to his knees

"You done there, squirt?" He chuckled

"Y-yes..."

"Good, let's get out of here. There's still work to be done" the bald guy pushed Clemont down more while taking the machine and putting it on his back like a backpack.

"Clemont!" Dedenne cried. Everyone looked our way. Clement gasped

"Dedenne?! Why aren't you with Bonnie?!" The bald guy pushed him all the way to the ground and pressed his foot on his head

"Look at that," the girl said "we have a little annoying Pokémon trainer trying to be a hero" the bald guy laughed at me. I furrowed my brows while blushing

"I didn't think anyone remained here after we dealt with the workers" the guy walked up to me "the names Admin Roman" the girl stepped up.

"I'm Aliana, and I'm one of Team Flare's scientist. I'm researching a certain something that you wouldn't understand anyway."

"Why we are telling you this? Not sure, but that won't matter after we're done with you" The admin send out a Houndoom while Aliana send out a Mightyena. Yeah... Like I haven't heard that before

"Alright then, come on out Mawile!" She jumped right in front of Houndoom. I took out my keystone and fist it "mega evolve!" She mega evolved in no time and now had two jaws on her head for her two opponents

"Mega evolution..." Clemont stared in awe. Dedenne escaped my shoulder and ran past the grunts, rushing over to its master

"Mawile! Iron defense! Then rough play" Mawile smirked and took on the dark types roughly all at once before they had a chance to attack. She jumped away and went back to her regular form. She successfully defeated the enemy with one attack, that's my girl.
