Chapter 57: Yveltal-

The room we walked into was dark with the only light source coming from a large machine with red glowing streams following each wire going into the walls. Calem instructed Shauna to be careful due to all the wire. I walked forward without a regard if I fell or not. I felt my chest tightening the closer I was getting to the machine. Aside from that pain, the pain on my back no longer felt like it was burning, but it felt like chills going down my spine. There is a cocoon right there... on the machine

"Yveltal..?" I said very low to where I didn't even hear myself. Calem and Shauna stood next to me.

"We're in the deepest part of the headquarters..." Calem said, using his hand to fan himself. A sweat was building on his face as well as Shauna holding her neck "It's kind of hard to breathe in here" it is?

"Is that thing that looks like a cocoon the legendary Pokémon?" Shauna asked "it doesn't look like it's alive, but..."

"Trust me. It's alive... just sleeping" I softly rubbed my lower back.

"It won't be for long" my friends turned around, while I stayed looking at Yveltal, to face a bunch more admin trying to get in our way "the Ultimate Weapon has taken 99 percent of the legendary Pokémon's energy, but just to make double sure nothing goes wrong, let's take these kids out-!"

"Shut up" I said, making them shut their mouth "Will you two make sure they stay out my way? I don't want to waste any more energy on these guys" my friends nodded and ran out of the room

"Hey! Wait a minute!" All but one admin remained in the room. I slowly turned to face him, showing how serious I was about this. I don't have time to mess with anyone.

"This isn't good..." The guy started sweating while playing with his walkie-talkie "Calling Lysandre! Calling for reinforcements!" Something in me warned me to not make a move. I wanted to so badly get him out my sight, then a loud roar came from behind me. I slowly turned around to see the cocoon opening! In no time at all, the large red and black legendary Pokémon spread its large red wings and screamed behind me, more preferably the admin behind me who cried in fear and ran for his life

"What a terrifying cry" I gasped to myself, staring up at the Pokémon staring down at me "When awaken... it sucks the life energy out of all living things. You... you're my spirit Pokémon?" It slowly lowered itself down to the floor to face me. There was no fear at all when seeing this Pokémon before my eyes...

"I didn't think I'd meet a royal before the 1000 year long sleep ends where I would reawaken and take my role" its head came close to my body, softly leaning against me. I gently pet its head, feeling a strong bond with it even if I just met it

"Its been 3,000 years, Yveltal. That's okay... It's time to go home" it raised its head when hearing Shauna and Calem come back to the room. Yveltal's eyes were on Calem.

"The legendary Pokémon!" Shauna gasped

"It seems to be in your side. I don't expect anything less" Calem smiled "This is a relief... now they can't use the Ultimate Weapon."

"You're so amazing!" Shauna's eyes sparkled "A legendary Pokémon wanting to be your friend like that! It's unbelievable" it's not necessary to tell her about the spirit part of the story where this Pokémon carefully handcrafted me, but I'll take her story to a better fact. I didn't know much about the spirit Pokémon's story anyways

"I never would've thought you were really a chosen one!" Lysandre angrily stomped into the room with a strange machine on his back. Calem and Shauna stood in front of me, despite a large legendary standing right behind me.

"What loyal friends..." Yveltal said to me "I can't remember ever meeting a royal whose ever had a friend..." I gulped at its honesty and focused back at Lysandre shaking violently in anger
